Leland "Bish" Jenkins built his family business based on the principles of honesty, fair dealing, and treating customers right. Beginning in Eastern Idaho in the 1940's with the sale of livestock, Bish Jenkins and his sons and grandsons expanded the family businesses into clothing, saddles, tack and horse trailers. In 1989, one of Bish's grandsons wanted to purchase an RV from a local dealer. When he didn't like the offer the dealer gave him, he called up the manufacturer and tried to buy one. But to buy from the manufacturer, you had to be a dealer, so he bought six of them and Bish's RV was...

The sales team themselves were very polite and gave us a good deal as my parents and I were buying 2 matching campers. But that was the last positive thing... We purchased and picked up our camper 2 days after my parents. The camper was supposedly "prepped" and looked over. When looking it over at the dealer I found 2 torn seals, a broken license plate bracket and moisture in both the tail lights and license plate lights. The young man that supposedly prepped this machine and was looking over it with us took very little care towards our immediate concerns and only stated "I’ll order it under warranty". He replaced the license plate bracket and said they couldn’t do anything about the lights. We then proceeded to back up the car and test the trailer’s lights. The running lights were inoperable. We tested the car with the harness connected and it appeared that we had no power on the car side. I asked if he would power it up using his testing tools and he attempted to test the lights but never got them to work. I still took it home, considering our car had no power from the harness even though he could not prove to me the lights actually worked. Shame on me. (It is also important to mention that the testing tool this shop had was just a little breaker-fuse with 2 wires. They did not have any professional test tools like the 4 way/7 way test box you can buy online.....this is THE DEALER!). The dealership was 3 hours from our home so when we got home we tested it with another vehicle that was hooked up to a trailer and was known to be working. The running lights on the camper did not work. We hooked up the car that I originally tested the camper with to the known good trailer and all lights lit up. I did some research and found the controller in the car that runs the lights has a built-in safety that kills power if there is a short. As we were leaving on vacation in 4 days with the camper, the dealer was 3 hours one way and I am personally a technician, I proceeded to diagnose and repair the short myself. The problem- which stems from the manufacturer but SHOULD have been caught by the dealer- (A separate review was made for the manufacturer) was the running lights wire insulation was stripped away from the wire, obviously having been pulled though the drilled frame holes while being made with no care whatsoever. The bare wire was shorting to the frame of the camper (ground). This was a manufacturing defect. I made the repair myself, taking precautionary measures to try to prevent any future damage and tested the rest of lights again. NOW...the second issue.... As I mentioned before, the tech that prepped the camper did not seem very enthusiastic to immediately cover this under warranty. Due to this, I myself followed up on the warranty with the dealership’s office. I was told on the 26th of July that the items would be ordered. I called to check on August 11th. The sealing gasket had never been ordered... The person on the phone said that he would contact the manufacturer and double the order that WAS made for my parent’s camper warranty (which had the same leaking seal manufacturing issue), considering it was the same seals on both units that were torn. Incidentally, my parents’ warranties were ordered 2 days earlier by a different tech that had prepped their camper. I was told the eta was the 25th of August. I called back on September 12th and upon they’re looking was told it was sitting on the counter with no name on it. It was at that point it was finally shipped to my parents’ address. This whole experience was certainly bittersweet; a person should enjoy the excitement of purchasing a new camper rather than feel frustrated when it was all said and done.
Just got our new to us camper here. Nathaniel made it painless for us to get. This was the first dealer we went to, so we had only begun our journey. After going to several others we decided to pull the trigger on one here. He was honest and knowledgeable. Helped us understand the features off our purchase. He also went above and beyond to make the sale. The biggest selling point here is the winterization program. Definitely will be our first stop if we ever get bored of this one.
Great Communication from start to finish! They made our dreams come true of owning our own little RV. Great Pricing and Gold Plans for future services. Truely NO hidden fees like other places. Thank you to the sales team and the service team for going through all the functions to make sure we understood everything before leaving.
Nathaniel went above and beyond with helping us with the purchase of our RV. He spent his entire day off answering my texts and then went above and beyond checking my wardrobe closet on my trade in because I forgot to empty it out in my excitement of our new RV. He even did a video walk through on our new unit for my husband who hadn't actually been inside this model. Clint was also very helpful with all the financial questions we had. Great team of people there in Ludington!!! The RV FIX team also helped us out with a virtual visit that remedied our small problem without the need of an actual visit, getting us squared away quicker!!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO THE ENTIRE TEAM!!!
