I bought an Thor OMNI 29t at Family RV. I got a better price than anywhere else in the country. But I'm most happy with the people there. Jose & Reuben in service are two of the top tech's I've encountered -- and Natalie in Service is always a pleasure to talk to. And Theresa in the front office is a standout -- professional and on top of things -- very helpful. I'll definitely go back.
Absolutely not what I expected, to tell you the truth I didn’t know what to expect. Monday October the 13th 2025, I drove to Turlock ca. from my home in NorCal a 4 hour drive to Best RV. The previous week I had been talking with Nile the owner of Best RV he had checked my credit score and reviewed my Financial application he told me I was approved for the RV. Nile and I had talked about the Thor Tellaro 20H, I had showed the pictures of the 20H to my wife and we both agreed that the floor plan was not what we liked. So when I arrived Monday morning I asked a lady that seemed to be in charge at the time if I could change the camper van to a Thor Tellaro 20J and she said no problem I would just have to wait until it got serviced. One of the employees took me out in the lot and showed me the van, I knew I had made the right choice. Anyway I signed all the paperwork and waited in the waiting room for them to Clean up the van inside and out, and then I was taken out side and given a complete and thorough orientation of how to use an operate all the stuff which I immediately forgot. My experience with best RV with five stars all the way, very courteous everybody was so nice and helpful. They even had a coffee machine which I took advantage of a big thanks to all the staff at best RV, Paul Howard.
I bought my class C from Best RV. The Sales staff was great, and the owner was in the office when we bought it. Made us feel important.I had a small issue with the self-leveling on my first trip. I called on a Friday and was told they the service dept was not open to drop off my RV on the weekend. The Service manager told us he would come in on a Sunday to take our RV in to help. I didn't do that. I took it in the next week. I was in and out and really appreciated his willingness to help us. The ladies in the service dept were GREAT. Sorry I don't have any names, but you can be sure the service dept is WONDERFUL. I don't write review often but needed to after my service appointment. 2/12/26
We were looking to upgrade our 2017 Fourwinds C Class and saw some pretty good deals advertised online at bestrv. While we were impressed with some of the new floor plans, we fell in love with one that was about three years old. Although they were charging high book value for that 2022, it seemed reasonable as we really couldn't tell it from the brand news ones and with only 11k on the odometer, we were willing to pay the few thousand more. Unfortunately, Steve only offered us low book value on our trade-in which was disappointing as everything worked perfectly on our 2017 with 48k miles on it. But, we felt that it was still worth it to save more than 30% on the purchase price compared to a new one. The experience was good overall I suppose except for a brief discussion with Neal who apparently is the owner. I would recommend that you talk to George if you're going to shop here and avoid a pompous mrNasty. So far we've had no remorse although I would have rated my experience higher if not for a low trade in value and the fact that the one that we were buying didn't have a solar panel even though the website said that it did. This was not a deal breaker as it already had the wiring and charge controller in place, just no panels. I am deducting one star though because it did say that it had a 100w system and the owner acting like a spoiled child, puffed out his chest about it rather than just discussing it as an adult. If he had discussed it, he would have learned that it literally would only have cost him about 150.00 in hardware and the time it took his service department to secure a panel to the roof. Since I believe that I can do a better install than their service department, I am not too disappointed. Heck, I even had a couple of panels already. George redeemed the transaction for us as a true professional and thus three stars.
My friend and I have visited Best RV twice, and while they have plenty of inventory, the overall experience has been disappointing. They proudly advertise having the “best prices” and “no hidden fees,” but that’s not the reality. Batteries and propane are additional charges, and any used unit is sold strictly “as is.” Campers of equal make/model/year are similar in price, mostly lower. Our first visit went smoothly, and the salesman we worked with was helpful. Unfortunately, the second visit took a turn, and it was with the same salesman. When we began discussing pricing and I mentioned other dealership's prep fees, he became defensive. Instead of having a professional conversation, he argued with me, talked down to me, and then resorted to criticizing other dealerships. That’s not the kind of customer service anyone should expect when making a major purchase. And honestly, the whole experience reminded me of Walmart: tons of inventory, but the customer service sucks. Quantity doesn’t excuse attitude. Overall, the RVs may look great, but clarity, professionalism, and respectful communication were lacking. If you’re looking for a dealership that values transparency and treats customers with respect, I’d recommend exploring your other options before committing here.

Buying an RV is a big decision. Use this guide to shop Best RV Center's inventory with confidence.
Set your budget first
RV prices range from under $10,000 for used travel trailers to $300,000+ for Class A diesel pushers. Know your number before you browse. Use SearchShop's payment estimator on any Best RV Center listing to model monthly costs.
Pick the right RV type
Travel trailers and fifth wheels need a capable tow vehicle. Class B and C motorhomes offer an easier entry point. Class A motorhomes give the most space. Ask the team at Best RV Center which type fits your camping style.
Inspect these on every unit
Check the roof for cracks or soft spots (signs of water damage). Open every slideout and look for seal wear. Run all appliances. Test the generator, AC, and water heater. Check the underbelly for rust or damage.
Know the weight ratings
Every RV has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). Overloading causes tire blowouts and frame damage. Compare the GVWR against your intended load before committing.
Review service records
Ask Best RV Center for any available service history. Regular maintenance records — oil changes, roof resealing, slide service — signal a well-cared-for unit.
RV loans are specialized. Knowing the basics helps you get the best deal when financing through Best RV Center in Turlock, California.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years is typical for larger RVs. Shorter-term loans save on total interest.
Down Payment
10% to 20% is typical. A larger down payment reduces monthly costs and total interest paid.
