Dave and Ruth decided to open a car lot at our current RV dealership location located on highway 54 between Augusta and Andover Kansas. Shortly after opening the lot, Dave purchased seven RV's, and was pleased when they sold in a very short time. It was at this point that he decided to sell the remaining cars on his lot and pursue an RV dealership. After Dave's passing in 2016, his son Jarod began running the business. Hands down the best shop experience I have ever had. I needed an emergency weight distribution hitch install on a cross-country road trip, and after calling around to 5 different shops, Brad worked me in the same day. His techs inspected my trailer, and educated me on the hitch as they installed it. I truly couldn’t have been treated better, and can’t recommend this place enough!

Buying an RV can be a stressful experience but being from the west coast and buying one in Kansas, even more so. However, Brad made it a very pleasant experience and even went above and beyond our expectations to accommodate us to ensure a safe trip home. Very professional and ethical. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with the folks at Trailers and Hitches. After shopping around for over a year, I found that the total cost for the purchase of my fifth wheel was very reasonable when one considers the add on costs other dealerships tack on to their "sale pricing". They thoroughly check every system to ensure that the unit is good to go prior to delivery. I can't think of a nicer group of folks to deal with.
Superior customer service in every area. I drove out from Colorado to buy my Rockwood here because they were the only dealership that had what I was looking for for a reasonable price. They took care of every detail and I was in and back on the road in little over an hour. Friendly and professional. And they know RVs. I highly recommend them.
