SuperATV Polaris Ranger UTV Skid Plate
The Toughest Skid Plate Around. The Ranger 1000’s underside is under constant assault every ride. Every stick and boulder is doing its best to wreck your factory skid plate and destroy your drivetrain. If they hit just right, they can even get into your cab. Get SuperATV’s ARMW Polaris Ranger Skid Plate for better coverage than OEM so sticks can’t find a way in. It’s designed to take a beating so your machine doesn’t have to. Made of Proprietary ARMW. This skid plate is so strong because it’s made with a proprietary blend of UHMW skid plate material. We call it ARMW and it rocks. The 1/2” sheets we use are extremely strong, so they last longer than aluminum and won’t get dinged up. They’re smoother than aluminum so you slide over rocks and obstacles without screeching and squealing. The patented interlocking design ensures a secure fit that you can’t find anywhere else. Designed with Convenience in Mind. This skid plate is built with convenience in mind. You can install it easily and cleanup is no big deal. The built-in drain ports let you wash out all the mud and debris you collect on your ride, and the countersunk hardware is designed to sit flush so you get a perfectly smooth surface that will glide over anything. - Verify compatibility: Ensure the skid plate specifically fits your Polaris Ranger model year and trim level. Minor differences can affect fitment.
- Consider material: SuperATV offers both UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) plastic and aluminum skid plates. UHMW is lighter, absorbs impacts better, and slides over obstacles, while aluminum offers rigid protection and can be more durable against sharp impacts.
- Check installation requirements: Some skid plates are bolt-on, while others might require minor drilling. Review the installation instructions or videos beforehand to assess complexity.
- Compare warranty and return policies: Understand the warranty coverage for the skid plate itself and the retailer's return process, especially for large, heavy items.
