The Rock Solid design incorporates vented flaps that allow for flexibility and prevent heat build-up, while remaining sturdy enough to effectively stop rocks or small road debris from impacting your towed vehicle. This product consists of two individual pieces, each measuring 20 inches in height by 48 inches in length. It is designed for easy installation onto the rear bumper of your RV. The mounting brackets provided are made of galvanized steel for robust attachment. Installation typically involves permanently mounting the guard to a metal bumper, which may require some drilling. Users can trim or eliminate strips from the guard to accommodate features like mufflers, hitches, or wiring on their RV. For proper fit, it is recommended to measure from the RV's bumper to the ground and subtract 4 inches to determine the correct height. Additional hardware may be needed for applications other than direct mounting to a metal bumper (sold separately).
