Purchased a 2025 xsr900 from Dan 9/17/25. I live in Everett Wa but made the drive down to Oregon for the great deal. When I got there at 9am when they opened the bike was ready to go and they were ready with the paperwork. Everything went fast and smooth. No games were played and I appreciate that. The price quoted was the price. I was loaded up and on the road back home by 10am. Was well worth the drive to Yamaha Sports Plaza in Fairview Oregon. The bike is amazing!!!
Awesome customer service. Had some boots show up late and they stayed late to make sure I could get them. Always well kept store with lots of inventory.
Great service my bike is running like a champ.. they took their time to find the parts necessary they were not easy to find. They were able to get the job done and I'm very appreciative. Very friendly and professional I will definitely use their services again.......
Hidden Gem MX store! Bought our yz125x from them, Gear and supplies. Recently visited them again and they were generous enough to help sponsor my ride. Lots of gratitude and made a podium representing you as my sponsor!
My new-bike buying experience at Sports Plaza was the best I have ever had in purchasing a new vehicle. Unequivocally. In the past 30 years I have bought new a Jeep, a Chevy Pickup, and two Harleys. None of those dealers treated me anywhere close to as good as Dave. Specifically, I visited the shop on six (6) separate occasions before even picking up my TW 200. I made an additional eight (8) phone calls in the process. Dave answered at least 100 questions of mine about everything from financing, to maintenance, to longevity, to safety, to where and how to ride. This is NOT hyperbole! He let me take pictures in the back as the bike was just out of the crate and not ready for delivery. By my request, he even met with me out front after a week of ownership just to ride the TW and give me a few more tips. While I am polite, I am not an easy customer. What about the numbers? Well, Dave gave me a price that was $200 less than any of the 15 dealerships I called or visited in Oregon. Instead of the 1 - 2 month wait for a TW everyone had told me, Dave made a few phone calls to “the ladies in the warehouse,” and got me one in six (6) days. With one day left in August, Dave jumped through hoops to get me Yamaha’s Zero Percent Financing. Yes, that’s free money— and that deal is now gone. Lastly, Dave threw in a pair of dirtbike hand guards au gratis just because I asked. A more patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind salesperson may not exist. But hey, this IS Oregon, not my hometown of New York City! Just another great experience of living in my new state.

Buying a motorcycle from Yamaha Sports Plaza in Fairview, Oregon? Follow this checklist before you commit.
Verify the title and VIN
Check the VIN on the frame, engine, and title to confirm they match. Run the VIN through a motorcycle history report. Yamaha Sports Plaza should be able to provide documentation for any bike in their inventory.
Check the fork seals and bearings
Look for oil weeping down the fork tubes — a sign the seals need replacement. Grab the front wheel and push/pull firmly to check for play in the steering head bearings.
Inspect the chain and sprockets
A worn chain will have excess slack and the sprocket teeth will look hooked or pointed instead of rounded. Chain and sprocket replacement runs $200–$500. Factor that into your offer if it's needed.
Check tire age and tread depth
Look for the DOT date code on the sidewall — tires over five years old should be replaced regardless of tread. Tires are a safety item, not a cosmetic one.
Take a test ride
Confirm the clutch engages smoothly, the brakes feel firm, and the bike tracks straight at speed. Listen for valve noise, exhaust leaks, or electrical issues. A short test ride catches problems a visual inspection misses.
Motorcycle loans are typically shorter and more affordable than RV or boat loans. Here is what to know before financing through Yamaha Sports Plaza in Fairview, Oregon.
Typical Loan Terms
36 to 60 months is most common for new motorcycles.
Down Payment
10% is typical. Some lenders offer zero-down for qualified buyers on new bikes.
