Had a great experience buying my 2025 KTM 250xc-w. They made it easy to purchase, and the owner went out of his way and delivered the bike to me as well. Highly recommend buying from Trojan.
Appreciated the folks at Trojan Powersports for being welcoming, kind folks, and making my buying process super easy. This dealership has a cool family vibe which is rare for a dealership, my and my friends who visited felt immediately welcomed, not pressured at all, and encouraged to explore and ask questions. Also big cheers @Trevor who helmed my purchase from start to finish. He kept me in the loop throughout the buying process and along with Katie, made the day of pickup straightforward and simple. Thanks folks!
Threats, Hidden Fees, and a Christmas Shakedown If you value transparency, respect, or basic human decency — do not do business with Trojan Powersports. We brought our SXS in for transmission work. The service itself was eventually completed, and over the course of several months we paid over $6,100 total, including multiple good-faith payments. When we finally secured the remaining balance in full, the tone suddenly shifted from “working with us” to threats and pressure. We were never given a storage agreement, never told when storage supposedly began, never given a daily rate, and never notified that storage fees were accruing while payments were actively being made. Yet suddenly, right before Christmas, we were told we owed $1,100 in storage fees — fees that magically appeared only when we were ready to pay the balance off. What happened in person was worse. When we arrived to pick up and pay for our SXS, we were met by Judy, the bookkeeper and I don’t say this lightly She's the Grinch who stole Christmas. We politely asked to speak with the owner or Moreen (who had been handling the account). Judy told us we had to speak with Roger in the service department instead. Roger was professional, respectful, and honestly the only bright spot in this entire ordeal. He walked us back, showed us the SXS, and explained what he knew. While we waited for the owner or Moreen to arrive to discuss removing the unjustified storage fees, Judy inserted herself into the situation repeatedly. She demanded full payment including storage fees, dismissed the fact that this was three days before Christmas even Mocked the situation with a smirk, saying storage fees would “keep adding up” if we didn’t pay. Accused us of wanting “sympathy” because we couldn’t pay which was false, since we had the money. Claimed (laughably) that storage fees go directly to employees like a bonus, which is absolutely not how storage fees work. At one point, while Roger tried to help resolve things, Judy loudly told him that any reduction would “come out of his department’s pay,” attempting to pit employees against customers. It genuinely felt like they wanted to keep our SXS, not resolve the bill. In the end, under pressure, intimidation, and with zero written justification, we paid $3,450, including $248 in storage fees we should never have owed at all — just to get our property back. If storage fees were invalid enough to waive two-thirds of them, then they were invalid entirely. This was threatening, unprofessional, and predatory behavior — especially during the holidays. Judy stole Christmas. Trojan Powersports lost our trust permanently. John C. you lost a good paying customer
I have purchased 6 machines in the past 60 days. The Owner Rob is great and very polite. But the reason I really keep coming back is because Katie the finance manager is amazing and perfect! She loves to put bows on your toys! Katie is amazing!!
I recently bought a motorcycle from Trojen Motor Sports, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free—it was honestly the easiest transaction I’ve ever had. On top of that, their pricing is very competitive, so I know I got a great deal. I highly recommend Trojen Motor Sports to anyone looking for a new bike—you won’t be disappointed!

Buying a motorcycle from Trojan Powersports in Monroe, Michigan? Follow this checklist before you commit.
Verify the title and VIN
Check the VIN on the frame, engine, and title to confirm they match. Run the VIN through a motorcycle history report. Trojan Powersports should be able to provide documentation for any bike in their inventory.
Check the fork seals and bearings
Look for oil weeping down the fork tubes — a sign the seals need replacement. Grab the front wheel and push/pull firmly to check for play in the steering head bearings.
Inspect the chain and sprockets
A worn chain will have excess slack and the sprocket teeth will look hooked or pointed instead of rounded. Chain and sprocket replacement runs $200–$500. Factor that into your offer if it's needed.
Check tire age and tread depth
Look for the DOT date code on the sidewall — tires over five years old should be replaced regardless of tread. Tires are a safety item, not a cosmetic one.
Take a test ride
Confirm the clutch engages smoothly, the brakes feel firm, and the bike tracks straight at speed. Listen for valve noise, exhaust leaks, or electrical issues. A short test ride catches problems a visual inspection misses.
