Buying a motorcycle from Riva Motorsports Space Coast in Titusville, Florida? Follow this checklist before you commit.
Verify the title and VIN
Check the VIN on the frame, engine, and title to confirm they match. Run the VIN through a motorcycle history report. Riva Motorsports Space Coast should be able to provide documentation for any bike in their inventory.
Check the fork seals and bearings
Look for oil weeping down the fork tubes — a sign the seals need replacement. Grab the front wheel and push/pull firmly to check for play in the steering head bearings.
Inspect the chain and sprockets
A worn chain will have excess slack and the sprocket teeth will look hooked or pointed instead of rounded. Chain and sprocket replacement runs $200–$500. Factor that into your offer if it's needed.
Check tire age and tread depth
Look for the DOT date code on the sidewall — tires over five years old should be replaced regardless of tread. Tires are a safety item, not a cosmetic one.
Take a test ride
Confirm the clutch engages smoothly, the brakes feel firm, and the bike tracks straight at speed. Listen for valve noise, exhaust leaks, or electrical issues. A short test ride catches problems a visual inspection misses.
Motorcycle loans are typically shorter and more affordable than RV or boat loans. Here is what to know before financing through Riva Motorsports Space Coast in Titusville, Florida.
Typical Loan Terms
36 to 60 months is most common for new motorcycles.

10% is typical. Some lenders offer zero-down for qualified buyers on new bikes.

This was probably the quickest and easiest process I've ever experienced when buying a vehicle from any dealership. Chad made the process quick and smooth and before I went there he was always very quick to reply to any questions I had. I would definitely recommend RIVA. Good prices and good customer service!
Maria Fernandez Made my buying experience completely positive at Riva. She did a great job of keeping me informed about the current inventory of Waverunners I was looking for. Maria returned my calls prompty and in a timely manner. She helped me get the best deal possible and is caring/ sincere person when it comes to her customers. Doing business with her was a completely positive experience.
HONEST REVIEW FROM A LOCAL SUPPORTING SINCE 2018 SERVICE WORK BEWARE!! I’ve spent thousands of dollars with this shop over the years — buying ATVs, dirt bikes, and even investing in a major jet ski build. Unfortunately, it’s clear now that loyalty means nothing here unless you’re spending big in the moment. After a costly rebuild and “tune” on my jet ski, I experienced engine failure within two hours. I brought it back in, hoping for a fair diagnosis and resolution. Instead, I paid more money to be told the issue was with something completely unrelated — a misdiagnosis, plain and simple. They also pushed me to buy unnecessary parts during the process — a clear sign they’re either guessing or simply don’t know what they’re doing. My Riva Nano still won’t connect, and I’m left with more questions than answers. To make matters worse, when I tried to speak up, I was met with defensiveness, not solutions. Brandon in particular seemed more interested in arguing than listening, and couldn’t even offer a basic apology for the inconvenience or oversight. As for the actual engine issue — I’ve inspected it myself and even consulted others. (“Professionals” Working in power-sport industries) It’s not cylinder one as they claimed. There’s no evidence of piston-to-spark plug contact. In fact, it looks like the plug was pinched or mixed up by their mechanic, which makes their “diagnosis” even more questionable. This place has gone from bad to worse. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere — even if it means driving farther — to a shop that knows what they’re doing and stands behind their work.If you’re considering this shop — don’t. I have plenty of other customers who’ve had similar experiences and would say the same.
Absolutely the best and most caring powersports company you’ll find anywhere. They work VERY hard to make sure you get a great product at a reasonable price. I felt bad that we kept them there after hours doing the paperwork. They didn’t seem to mind, but I still feel that I should have gone in earlier. The Yamaha was absolutely spotless and ran flawlessly. The trailer was properly prepared and you could see that they put extra grease on the wheel bearings. Honestly, the best purchasing experience we have had in a long time. Joe was fantastic!
