Purchased a used Honda Valkyrie and dealt with Karen and Kyle. This is kind of of an oddball, older motorcycle and I searched for quite a while before finding this one. Both were very helpful and knowledgeable. I live in Dallas and upon arrival, the bike was actually better than described by Kyle. Plenty of pictures and a video before I got there. Overall the bike was in excellent condition. While doing the paperwork, Kyle even loaded on the trailer for the trip back to Dallas. I have riden nearly every day since I got the bike with no mechanical surprises. Found several accessories and owner’s manual in the saddle bags. Overall, a very positive experience and would highly recommend On the Border for those looking for a good, used motorcycle.
I was thinking outside the box and I always want to do somethings different. The guys helped me achieve the results I wanted. I purchased two rear tires 150/80/16 Knobby..I’m not always practical, but I make me happy! Thanks to the Team!
These guys take the crown for WORST service. I could go on all day about these clowns but here are SOME of the many reasons I don’t recommend: 1. They had my sport bike in their possession for exactly 30 days. They did NOTHING to it but “check it” 2. Every time I called and asked to speak with the mechanic, he had a thumb up his butt and couldn’t talk on the phone. If you don’t want to work, just say so Justin. 3. When I finally decided to get my bike back since they weren’t working on it, turns out they lost the seat, passenger seat cover and gas tank bolt. They said they would call me back when they found it; it’s been 5 days and still no calls. Not surprised, though. 4. The owner is extremely rude and seems to get loud with his customers when something isint going his way. He told me he was going to charge me $100 for “checking” the fuel pump and after I told him I would absolutely speak my mind in regards to his terrible service, he refused to charge me. I spoke with the owner twice, both times he cussed at me and got loud with me. Not sure how these guys get good reviews but hey, good luck with these guys.
