Great place, I bought my 2022 BMW 1250 Gs there. I was looking for a few days for “the right one”. I wanted it fully loaded, talked to Craig, he looked in there extensive inventor, and called me back with “They bike” within the hour. I bought it sight unseen, and they made all the arrangements to get it to my front door. I can not give enough praise to Craig, and the folks at Max BMW.
Went there to pick up My K16 after accident repair. Just a tip over. Excellent job. Steve was very professional, and courteous. Will use their services again. oh, and looking at all the bikes was a blast! Even got a t-shirt. Thanks!
Outstanding, friendly, professional sales and service. I've owned a dozen different motorcycles and brands over 50 years. This was my first BMW purchase. I couldn't be happier with the dealer experience or the bike. Carolyn, my salesperson, was attentive, responsive and thorough in helping to choose the right bike, options and with the ordering process. Lots of feedback and helpful images via emails. Ben also helped with questions and possible options. Gregg answered service and accessory questions. Christina got the bike registered quickly. Marty, along with his friendly dog, delivered the R12 in pristine condition and answered a couple break-in questions. Pricing was fair and transparent - an excellent value for a high quality machine. Can't imagine a better BMW purchasing experience. My only suggestion is improving the BMW factory navigation app. It's glitchy and overly complicated with way too many options. Google Maps are superior in form, content and ease of operation. Downloading lower resolution, redundant BMW maps with less information is cumbersome. An Android Auto app option for BMW motorcycles that works with the built-in left hand grip controls would be awesome.
I stopped by Max BMW in Troy, NY with my wife, looking forward to checking out some bikes. I was greeted by one gentleman, and when I said it was a good day because I was here to look at bikes, that was where the conversation ended. From there, we were completely ignored. Maybe I didn’t look like a serious buyer, but either way, being dismissed is not the experience I expected. To make matters worse, a young woman by the front window was scrolling on her phone instead of acknowledging us. That’s not the way you treat people when they’re considering spending $30,000 on a bike. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I’d say to avoid them, based on my experience. Plus many other places to buy a bike, including other BMW dealerships.
Very nice to deal with on a purchase. Talk to Carolyn for a super sales experience. Greg in parts can do wonders and they have super experienced service staff. Flew in from KY to complete the purchase over many dealers east of the Mississippi.
