I was looking for a particular boat, and called around to a few dealers to talk about them. I am from out of state (of Oregon) but really liked dealing with the Y-Marina guys and ultimately went through them. Brian my sales guy was really attentive and responsive, and there were a couple things I was after on the boat, and these guys made it happen. All of this was done over the phone, we never actually met in person - they were great and fun to work with!
Really pleased with Paul and Mike and the amount of work they put in to get us in our new Stabicraft! He's continued to be helpful even after we got the boat, answering any questions I've had. If you're looking for a boat, go ask for Paul, top notch salesman! Also the demo with the Boat Doctor was incredibly helpful!
I bought a 2015 Smokercraft Alaskan 13 with a Yamaha 15 Hp on it new in 2015 from Paul. They were super friendly and helped me outfit it nicely for bay fishing. Unfortunately that Yamaha was a carbureted motor , 2012 and never started right. Service was not so helpful. They talked about Yamaha being the best motor in the world and I must be starting it wrong. Fortunately the Corvallis boat dealer, now closed, recognized that it had been sold with ethanol/gas which destroyed the seals and rebuilt that carb. After that it ran so nice. I only ran non ethanol containing gas, bit more money and hard to find, from then on and it ran nice till I sold it in 2021.
Purchased a new Willie Raptor earlier this Spring, mostly done online due to my location being 4 hours away. Pat - my salesman, put everything together and when the boat was delivered, the entire Y Marina team made the process such a great experience. After I got home, I found that we had a couple of issues that involved some parts and pieces that were left out of the sales package but, very necessary. Long story short - Y Marina, Pat and GM Mike stepped up and purchased all of parts needed and installed them because it was the right thing to do. My responsibility, bring the boat to their shop for the installation. Apology after apology for simple misstep, doing the right thing for their customer at their expense - I will recommend the dealership to everyone, I will be a repeat customer and I will promote their excellent customer service. Thank you to the entire Y Marina team! I absolutely love this boat!
