THIS PLACE IS A SCAM, THIEVES, LIARS!! I bought the boat from here brand new in 08/22. It has been nothing but a mistake to buy and service from them. My chaparral 280 osx has completely fallen apart, to the point where it is now not water worthy and the marina has texted me and emailed me over the last few years promising to get on top of my warranty repairs, service maintenance issues in which stated they ordered parts, then backtracked all their promises and written responses. They extorted me taking money for repairs that they never did because I have taken it to another marina several weeks after when i was still experiencing the same issues and they stated nothing new has been replaced or serviced in which I will be pursuing all legal charges against WATERFRONT MARINE BRICK AND SOMERS POINT for In 3 years I have put 518 hrs on my vessel and at this point its deemed unsafe to continue to use the vessel. I am losing my water therapy, my water ways of transportation to and from construction jobs on the water as well as both my kids cried all season they were not able to go on the boat. They also scratched my entire starboard side upon haul out. DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE FROM WATERFRONT MARINE. I will be pursuing all legal action against them for theft of service, and all emotional, physical damages, time lost from my hobby and family time etc. They're "GM" Earl was of no hope, and he will be persude legally as well. I have him on phone recording catching him in contradicting lies against himself on behalf of waterfront marine and once I stated the recording is being monitored he hung up. They have no service Technicians left in brick as they all quit and/or were fired. Brick location brings them up from somers point. The HIN # FGBM0147C222 for the safety of others this hull is not water worthy!! Chaparral Boats where is your customer service help? Waterfront Marine is a JOKE!!!
Hey Joe, how do you like your OSX? We love ours! More importantly we experienced electrical issue at delivery from another dealer and we’re told parts in order. Shortly after the dealer shuttered and i contacted the manufacturer then Keith responded immediately; the next day a technician was on my dock and ordered all necessary parts! Much to my amazement the parts arrived in a timely manner, that’s quite an accomplishment during these times in ALL industries, but Water Front Marine and crew pulled it off!!! Thank you all so much!
If you want to buy a boat and never get it serviced, buy here. If you want over a year of phone calls and emails ignored, buy here If you want to be proactive and get maintenance and repairs done before a disaster... Withouy 9-15 calls to service manager, as many emails and even asking your salesman for help...and still nothing... then buy some place else Ps we knew our boat would need manifolds and risers change before we bought it and got a verbal estimate, find the brick location John before we did. We are now going into our third season and still have not changed them because of lack of response. We would have never bought the boat...
Wow! These guys went from one of the best online build interfaces to one of the worst -- almost over night. Was contemplating a new 23 SSI and had been going through different configurations to see what the optimum configuration might be for my needs. A year or so ago, as I did the build, I could see the initial starting One Price and then incrementally see what each option would add to the running total. It was a great feature and made me want to do business with these guys as it seemed like a no-hassle process. Now, you can't even get an email from these guys. You are forced to see a salesman without any idea of what the boat will run nor any of the option pricing beforehand. Lost interest.
I recently purchased a used Proline walkaround from this facility. I first made contact via email, so the salesman had no idea exactly whom he was dealing with. He agreed to meet with me on a Sunday, due to my work schedule. Second, I am am a black man, and I believe that is relevant. Upon meeting the salesman that Sunday, Keith was very knowledgeable about the boat and treated me like just another person. After the purchase, I had a few small issues with the boat, but Keith and the technicians supported me and stood firmly behind their product. I would recommend this Marine to anyone within 100 miles. Absolute pleasure to work with them.
