I have never left a google review, but I feel like what I observed yesterday needed to be praised! I have always had wonderful service while working with both the sales and service employees at Union Marine in Fife. Everyone is extremely helpful! Yesterday I stopped to ask a few questions in the service department. When I walked in I instantly noticed a tall male customer berating a smaller female employee. She was clearly trying to explain something but the customer kept getting more intimidating/aggressive sounding and was unnecessarily rude, obviously not happy with her answers. She was just trying to do her job. She looked like she was about to cry and it got so bad that I almost stepped in and said something to defend her. Before I could speak up for her, she stood up for herself, and quickly removed herself from the situation. Another employee (male) came out and began talking to the rude customer who seemed to change his attitude quickly. I didn't see the entire interaction but from what I observed, the female worker handled the situation as professionally as possible under the circumstances and way better than I would have! I didn't catch her name but I really hope she has a good management team to back her up for standing up for her self and not taking the verbal abuse! No one gets paid enough for that!
We had the best experience buying our boat with Nick. Not only he was so informative but he and Gage delivered our boat in the water and showed us how to use it, as a First time boat owners we really appreciate this. Keep up the good work Nick and Gage! You guys are the best!
Bought a 2021 Sea Ray SPX from Union Marine last spring. From the first outing the boat has had problems, just shuts off and won't restart. Boat has been in and out of their service department multiple times throughout last summer and this winter. This past winter it was supposedly "fixed". Pictures below are from today the first day back on the water since the "fix". In the first 30 minutes on the water the boat shut off just cruising. We were able to accumulate a grand total of around 12 hours on it last summer, but those were break in hours. It now has a grand total of 22. Thank God our 2006 Maxum has never let us down and was available to tow me in. Extremely disappointed, to say the least. We only hope Union Marine or Sea Ray step up and resolve this ongoing issue.
Don’t bother taking your boat to Union Marine in Fife. The last two years after picking up my boat from being in storage I have had to pull off on the side of the freeway because of different reasons. The first time one of the rear locker doors flew open. This year they broke the boat guide on the trailer and instead of informing me of this they put some tape around it and said nothing. The floor had dirty shoe marks on it. We take a few hours every year before putting it into storage to clean the boat from top to bottom and expect to get it back in the same condition. Every time I go in there I feel like an inconvenience. They do not care about the customer or their boat. Never taking it back to them again. EDIT: The GM of union marine called me to apologize and made every effort to resolve the situation. I appreciate that he wanted to find out what happened so that he could try and fix it. He was also asked what he could do for me to make it right and we came to a resolution.
Best boat buying experience ever !!!! Bought my new Bayliner VR5 sight unseen. Did all the details before hand and scheduled my pick up appointment. Bob and the entire staff greeted me, they all knew I had drive 2hours to get the boat. I’m a sales manager for a new car dealership. I wish my sales team and my entire staff treated every customer the way I was treated at Union Marion. They gained a customer for life. Winston is excited for summer, so he can go on the new boat.
