Kevin and the staff were patient, awesome & knowledgeable answering any questions I had and on top of my great experience they even personally gave me some extra ratchet straps to ensure me and the new boat made it back safely since I forgot mine over 2hrs away back home. We were towing a 23 foot boat and burned a bearing and were broken down at 630 pm in Shiloh South Carolina. We called Southside Outdoors at 7pm and David McGee told us what to do to get the boat 8 miles to his shop. He said he would meet us there. He did meet us, secured our boat and called at 9 am the next morning to tell us that we need a new spindle and new hub assembly. He located the part and we picked it up and once part was delivered we were back on the road in 30 minutes. Great Experience. Thank You David
Will at Southside was great to work with. He's very knowledgeable on the boats and products they can install. He answered a ton of questions via text message before I made a trip up from Charleston to see a few duck boat models in person. Never any high pressure tactics but just good old fashioned handshake kind of business. Highly recommend Southside if you're in the market for a a duck/fishing boat.
Took my boat to get motor checked! They had it for over a month! Called on Monday to tell me the boat was ready, quoted the price for repair. When I got there on Tuesday the boat was not ready, when it was finally ready it cost me $90.00 more than I was told. When I asked for the breakdown of work there was no price on any of the parts or labor! Very unprofessional !!!
