This spring we were looking to buy a used pontoon boat. I found several used boats online in the Milwaukee area so my wife and I drove from Madison to check them out. One of the boats was at the Pewaukee Skipper Bud's, but unfortunately had sold earlier that day. After looking at the other boats in other locations, we came up empty and were going to make or way back to Madison, but passed the Skipper Buds Pewaukee location and thought we'd stop in, even though it was a Friday night, 7 minutes until their closing time. The woman who greeted us at the door was extremely pleasant and assured us we could take our time looking around. She introduced us to Corey, who spent almost a full hour after their store closed educating us on pontoon boats. He introduced us to the Barletta brand which we previously thought to be out or our price range, especially a new one. We were impressed with the value and price point of the Barletta Aria he showed us, so much so that and ended up buying the boat. A huge shout out for the warm welcome we received, and to Corey for patiently walking us through the different brands, features and price points...never once giving a hard sell, nor making us feel rushed, even though the store had already closed. We love our Barletta and feel lucky that we stopped in and met Corey.

We’ve used the service department for winterizing and some other minor warranty work. No complaints there either. We have not had one bad experience yet. Best in class boat solutions provider, not a pushy salesman at all. He looked out for us on a boat we wanted as it was heading into Boat Show season. Transaction and delivery of boat was top notch. I had 2 major problems with a new Sea Ray, both of which should have been detected by a good inspection by Skipper Buds prior to sale. Customer service was terrible after the sale. Essentially, after you complete the sale, you are on your own.
