We have rented a boat two years in a row when our family from out of state visits. It’s such an easy, painless rental experience and we have a blast each time! The staff is great from start to finish and the boats are always in tip top shape. They have life jackets for all sizes which makes it much easier when boating with littles.
To get to the point: Rent a boat here. It doesn't matter if you, like us, have never driven a boat. They will walk you through it. Renting is easy. The paperwork isn't onerous. Piece of cake. 2. You will get excellent customer service. Like, I have ZERO complaints from calling to reserve the boat to the day-of getting us on the water quickly. Easy parking, easy access to the lake, a perfect boat with a full tank of gas docked and waiting for us. Excellent "you have never done this before" instructions. A bathroom near the dock. It was perfect. 3. You will have a GREAT time. Our boat featured family members from age 1 to 65, and EVERYONE -- little kids, teens, parents, grandparents -- had a great time. The boat had room for snacks and coolers and towels. There was storage galore for towels and shoes. The weather was perfect, the lake was perfect for swimming and tubing (an osprey had better luck fishing, but we tried). We might get a bigger tube next time, but that was a learn from experience thing and was still perfect. In fact, eating ice cream nearby after, our son-in-law kept raving about how everything was just perfect. Everyone noticed the excellent service and the ease of turning us into boaters...which may be their secret mission as they did create return customers out of us. Money can't buy happiness, but it can rent a boat on Silver Lake for a day, which WILL, for a day, make amazing memories. And that IS happiness.
I just purchased my 3rd boat from Silver Lake Marine and couldn’t be happier. Very friendly family owned business with Quinn, the owner, always on site and available. Skyler was awesome at helping me put together and ordering the boat. He is very knowledgeable and great at helping you get exactly what you want without trying to pressure you into more than you need. I can’t say enough about how well the whole buying experience went. They take the time to let you know they value and appreciate you as a customer. I would highly recommend stopping in if you are looking for a boat. And if you do stop in, make sure you grab one of their new hoodies so you can”represent” legendary awesomeness year round!
We rented a pontoon boat for the day and everyone here was amazing. It was easy and the employees were so helpful and kind, we will definitely reccomend to others. Beautiful store and location, along with the 2025 fleet to rent from, it was worth every penny for a great day of boating and tubing!!!
