If I could give this place a six stars I would! Amazing service! And I don’t just say that. I’ve been to three other dealers in the last year and a half on my one particular boat and I’ve gotten nowhere. Wasted time and money. I called to ask if they were able to take my boat in at any time. Told the service manager, what was the problem he told me to bring it right down. Mind you, this is the beginning of July and everyone else had no time. Not only was it extremely fast service turned around in a week. The company went out of their way to work with Suzuki and have my motor fixed the way no other dealers in the 50 mile radius could do. I got it back in short time with half the money. We had a great experience working with Rick and Deb. We purchased an Easten 248 Islanderfrom Ipswich Bay Yacht Sales last year. We are very happy with the boat and the purchasing process was very easy. Rick delivered on everything that was promised and gave great recommendations on the boat set up. Deb even threw in a lobster pillow that my wife really wanted. If your are looking for an affordable low maintenance down east style boat with an outboard Eastern is pretty much your only option. We cruise all over Frenchman Bay in ours and have been very pleased. If you are new to power boating, this is a great first boat. It's very simple to operate, looks great and can accommodate 6 to 8 people very comfortably. If you plan to go out rough conditions I would probably upgrade to the 270, but for day cruising and fishing in mild conditions the 248 is all you need. Rick gave us great advice and I would definitely recommend them without any hesitation.
