Excellent new outdoor store in a prime location on Stratford Road. The staff are friendly and eager to help with any of your 🚤 boating, 🎣 fishing, kayaking, or other outdoor needs. They also had an ample supply of hats, clothing, UV protection, eyewear, accessories, backpacks, and more. They also have ♿ handicap accessible 🅿️ parking and 🚻 restrooms.

Went in a few days ago needing a last minute hiking pack replacement for my dog. Not only did they have a better and higher quality selection than other stores I checked, but multiple employees went above and beyond making sure I got exactly what I needed and the pack was a good fit. The hike went great and we’ll definitely be back.

Nice to see this former restaurant supply store transformed into an outdoors store. Shoppers may find a solution to any of their camping, fishing or kayaking needs. I visited for the first time hoping to find large 7-10 inch bobbers for a catfishing rig, some type of hair hook rig, wacky worm bands and bobber stops. I found a small selection of the bobber stops but none of what could be considered more advanced types of fishing rigs. There's a great display of kayaks that make great use of the showroom. Very impressive.

Not the place to go if you need help. I was going to purchase a new fishing rod for my son and buy a dry top. My son wanted to try a bait caster, which he hasn't used before, so we thought this would be a good place for an employee to steer us in the right direction of what to get. The store had no customers. A man did greet us when we came in but did not ask if we needed help. We were looking at the rods and casters confused. He never offered to help. He did stare at us. Then I saw another employee. The 2 employees started talking. We were there for 15 minutes and no one offered to help us so we took our business elsewhere. If you know what you need, you will be fine. This was June 12 around 3 30 pm. We normally go to the one in lexington. The staff there are great there.

Can't speak too much outside of their fishing related items. Less popular and less of a selection than someplace like Academy, but they carry all the top stuff without a bunch of filler to sort through. Prices are comparable to online and sometimes even cheaper. I find Lures here that nobody else has in stock. Good people too. I once dropped an ID in the store. They went through the trouble of searching for me on the internet and finding a contact number to get it back to me. While the number ended up not being me directly, it was someone who knew me, and I was able to retrieve my ID. If you are looking for quality fishing gear this place should be on your short list.
