Bought a used boat. I expected that I would need some repairs but Charlie exceeded my expectations in making things perfect. I give Puget Marina 5 stars.
See attached photo. This is a bag of parts from a broken cowling latch that these guys thought would be an appropriate way to return what they broke. The boat went in with a list of repair and maintenance items and an open checkbook. Fix and maintenance everything. Ok no problem 2 weeks was what they told me. 3 weeks later I went in to check on it It had not been touched. They said they got too busy. Would have thought a call would be reasonable but that didn’t happen. Then 2 more weeks they call and say it’s done. Looking it over there were a couple things that they didn’t touch so I ask and they say I’ll have to take it somewhere else for that. Could have told me when they agreed to the list and told me 2 weeks. Anyway paid 4700 for maintenance on the outboards and new scuppers they also replaced all the batteries that tested good 3 months ago but the date said 5 years old so they did it anyway. Guess their tester is different that others. Also got new tie downs. Paid the bill and took it home. Then noticed washing the greasy handprints off the outboards that a cowling latch was missing. Called and left a voicemail to see if it was maybe laying in the shop somewhere. With no response I just bought a new one. Got delivered today and pulled the hood to install and would you believe it there it is. A bag of part zip tied to a hose inside the cowling. See picture. Unbelievable. Can’t imagine how this bunch of misfits stays in business. I hear they can edit their reviews.
I have owned several boats since 1972 and have dealt with several dealers in the Tacoma/Olympia area and have found Charlie and his crew to be one of the best. I have purchased three motors from Charlie and will continue to do business with him and Puget Marina.

Super organization to do business with. Charlie was just amazing! If you're looking for a new boat and haven't been out to see the folks at Puget Marina we highly recommend you swing by. Just a nice relaxed atmosphere. We picked up a 2015 on consignment and Charlie made sure everything was ready to go before we pulled away with our new (to us) boat. The trailer jack must have had some issue because when I was backing up to hook up Charlie says just a minute, I was going to get a new jack on this. Took the guys 10 min and we were on our way. He threw in a couple dock lines and gave me a swingin deal on an added kicker and GPS Fish Finder, installed. Even though the shop must be INCREDIBLY busy and backed up this time of year Charlie made it happen. He got the Humminbird and the new kicker motor installed as promised in just a few days. Thank you Charlie and all the guys at Puget Marina!!
