I cannot overstate how great the whole team at Norris Marine is to work with. I have made several purchases from them and they have always been fantastic to work with. I have had warranty issues handled with them as well and those were all quick and painless on myself as the consumer. The whole staff gets it, they are real people with a strong desire to satisfy. I have had the great opportunity to purchase from DJ which he is too notch. I’ve worked with Sean as well, he was patient with me through my non decisiveness, and you can’t ever leave out Tyler he has always pulled through, he is a wizard. I can promise you this team will get you going in your next dream boat just like they did for me and my family.
Had my boat winterized (basic). Friendly, tad pricey but that’s ok. The reason for the 3 stars is when I picked up my boat they did not reinstall the block drain plugs. Said I’d have to bring it back in the spring and it would cost $250 to have the block plugs put back in. That seems like a money grab and a rip off. I’ll just put them back myself but seems like a way to take advantage of people who are less mechanically inclined. May or may not use them again. Update: Sean (owner called me directly) explained why they leave the plugs out post winterizing). There is a legit reason. We both agreed better communication as to the “why” is critical. 100% would use them again. Great customer service and good people.
I damaged my boat hull two separate times. After Norris Marine did such a great job repairing the first hole, I brought it back to fix the second hole a year later. Repair prices are reasonable and Customer service is top notch. Ashley Wade kept me informed every step of the way and I was treated very well by all employees I encountered. I will bring my boat back to Norris Marine anytime I need it repaired.
It's a long list of people that can sell you a boat. It's a very short list of people that can provide you quality service after that sale. Norris Marine is on that list. I brought home a brand new bass boat and discovered some problems with the factory installed electronics. My salesman, DJ, spent lots of time with me on the phone trying to troubleshoot the issue while I was on the lake. When that didn't work, he made the hour drive to my house to pick up my boat, take it back to the shop, repair and then he brought it back to me. That service cannot be beat and DJ is a gold mine asset to Norris Marine. This is my second boat from them and it is in very large part to DJ. He has always answered the phone, even on his days off and has done everything to help me out. It does not get any better than Norris Marine and DJ! The entire staff is top notch. Polite, friendly and knowledgeable.
