McLaughlins did an amazing job selling me my camper. Excellent sales and service. They went over the top in every aspect to get me goin as quick as possible. Everyone in the shop was more than willing to take time to explain procedures to do my own service and maintenance, as I am 9 hours away. 04/04/2025. This is going to be a shout out and testament to Nate Thompson. Wife and I are in THAILAND. I spot a pontoon boat on the FB Marketplace that I took a liking to. So I sent a message and Nate responded super quick. From there on it was nothing but an outstanding working relationship. He answered every, and I mean every question without hesitation and complete honesty. He went above and beyond to see that all my questions were attended to. All of this, from initial contact to completion of the deal, thru insurance, financing and paperwork was outstanding. In my 80 years, I have never experienced such a forthright dealing with a "sales" person. I would honestly recommend Nate for any dealings in his department. All this to say "I was able to complete my "deal" from start to finish, thanks to Nate, over the on-line network. We don't even get back to the STATES until May and we are so looking forward to picking up our purchase. Thank you Nate. McLaughlins needs to appreciate you.
We bought a boat from them in April and have had nothing but issues with it and having to replace things and having maintenance done. We eventually brought the boat back to the dealership to have them look at it and fix it and didn’t offer to fix it for free but would “split the bill.” They took a month after we purchased it to have it “cleaned” and have the service department look everything over to make sure it was working properly before we were able to pick it up. We ended up still cleaning the boat before use and the boat quit on us on the middle of the lake from an issue that the maintenance guy said “happens over time.” We only got about 8 uses, not 8 weekends… uses, out of the boat before this happened. We did buy a used boat so we do I understand there is no warranty. But the salesman said they always make sure everything is working properly and in good shape before re-selling. The guy on the phone that called to tell me what the issue was and what needed to Be fixed said “I guess that’s what you get when you buy a used boat.” No, I guess that’s what you get for buying a used boat from Mclaughlins.
