Buying a boat from MasterCraft Colorado in Denver, Colorado? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask MasterCraft Colorado which models suit the waterways near Denver, Colorado.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at MasterCraft Colorado.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like MasterCraft Colorado will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. MasterCraft Colorado should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
Marine financing has unique terms. Here is what to know before financing a boat through MasterCraft Colorado in Denver, Colorado.
Typical Loan Terms
10 to 20 years for larger boats. Smaller boats are typically financed over 5 to 10 years.

WOW, this MasterCraft store did it right. From the displays to the staff I haven’t seen better. I stopped in to waste some time and man I could have taken half the store home with me. From the second I walked in you can tell the professionals there are doing the right thing. I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. I looked around at what’s new to see how the industry has changed over the years. From ski to surf boats and all the toys and accessories, they have it all. I can tell you when I’m ready to bring one of these beauties, this will be my first and only stop. Thank you.

My husband and I had been looking on and off for about 4 years for our first inboard. We had a different make in mind however Jarrett and Chris were so great to work with that it made our decision an easy one. We’re still learning things here and there, but I have to say Jarrett has gone above and beyond communicating with us and it’s been almost two years since we purchased our boat. So thank you for putting up with us and still keeping in contact when we need it. Best decision we made during our journey of finding the perfect boat for us all thanks to you guys!
