I found our boat online and called and talked Jeremy Blundell. This is our first time purchasing a boat. Jeremy was extremely helpful and patient. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our numerous questions. He made the buying experience quite easy and an overall pleasant experience. He then hooked us up with Mitch to get all the equipment we needed for the boat including surf boards, ropes, life jackets, and all the coast guard equipment we would need to be compliant with all laws. We have had a few hiccups with the boat, such as a lifting shock being bad, however with Brandon their lead mechanic, getting this taken care of has been a breeze and very easy. Jake in the finance department made the financial aspect a breeze despite our 4 kids being in his office. Everyone was super easy to work with and had been very patient with all our questions from a rookie family to boating. I would never hesitate to use them again for a boat purchase. My experience with MasterCraft of Utah Boat Sales started at the Utah Boat Show. After finding a MC I was ready to purchase, I was led to the sales desk with the intention of putting money down, only to be told it had just been sold moments earlier. I left them my contact information and over the next two weeks, a similar pattern continued. Four separate times I was contacted about a boat and prepared to move forward with payment, and each time there was a last-minute reason why they were “not ready” for me to put money down. Every time I had my wallet out and was ready to commit, something changed — whether it was availability, timing, or internal decisions. I’m not sure whether this was a bait-and-switch situation or simply poor communication between sales staff and management, but it was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I was genuinely ready to buy a boat from them, and instead felt led along without clear answers. I hope they can improve their internal communication and processes so future customers don’t have a similar experience.
