I purchased a pontoon boat from marinemax (they handled my trade in as well) in October 2025. Putting aside the professionalism of the dealership, I was exceedingly appreciative of my Salesperson Kaleb. In addition to his LISTENING to my objectives for a boat, he answered every call, text and was responsive to my questions. If Kaleb didn't know the answer, he researched the issue and responded back. I rarely post reviews, but the chief reason behind this post was AFTER THE SALE, KALEB ANSWERED EVERY CALL OF MINE ON MY POST- DELIVERY QUESTIONS (i.e., I forgot how to operate the screen, lighting, inverter outlet, etc.). Frankly, I've never seen this before. Typically, you sign a contract...dealership delivers your boat, and the salesperson turns into Houdini. I highly recommend Kaleb and the Marinemax (of Cornelius) Team BTW - The Manager Todd was a pleasure working with as well and can see he sets the tone for a great customer service experience
We had Andy T. at MarineMax come look at our boat after some idiot ran into it and messed up the cowling. Andy pulled our boat out of the water, trailer it to his shop, checked it over top to bottom, sent us pictures, and sent an estimate all in the same day without us needing to be involved. Everything was handled over the phone or via email. Glad to have our boat back and glad to have someone we can call when we have a boat issue. He was so easy to work with, we went ahead and got the annual and 300 hour services done with him. Its tough to find good people to work on your boat these days. We will definitely being coming back.
