My family and I were involved in a bad accident on July 4th which involved my truck, boat and trailer. Long story short my trailer was totaled and the boat took some damage to the hull. I live in the Columbus area and boat service on Jet Boats is pretty scarce. I was having a difficult time finding a shop that could run over the mechanical aspects of the boat as well as handle the fiberglass repair. I remembered speaking with Lodder's last year about some warranty work but never made the two hour drive. In reaching out to my fellow boaters Lodder's name came up again. I gave them a call and was very happy with the customer service received and willingness to help out in our difficult situation. Matt and Kevin went above and beyond to find a trailer, fix our boat and get us back on the water to enjoy the remainder of our boating season. I am very thankful for these guys and will certainly be recommending their services to anyone looking for a reputable Dealer. Matt and Kevin, thank you you again for everything. We purchased our boat from Lodder's Marine after the 2016 boat show. Matt Lodder and Wayne in sales were outstanding to work with. The entire staff at Lodders have set the expectation bar high. Our first year we had a handful of normal maintenance items that were taken care of quickly by the guys in the service department. Our second year, we took the boat south to Lake Cumberland and decided to have our service taken care of by the local Cobalt dealership down there. Steven in the Lodder's service department was happy to help transfer our warranty items down to that location and even had parts shipped to them so the end of the season items that needed to be fixed on the trailer could be completed at that time. Unfortunately, the other Cobalt dealer has a different level of standards on speed of completion of work and just all around communication. As much as it pains me to drag the boat 6 hours round trip, it's worth it knowing the consistent level of service we get from the guys at Lodders. We'll continue being a loyal customer because of that.
We went to Lodder's Marine looking for a Yamaha AR195. I spoke with one of the salesman by the name of Brad the day before to make sure they had one in stock. He set up a time for the next day and was waiting at the door when we arrived. He took us over to the boat and then was completely hands off allowing my wife and I to look it over and discuss the possible big purchase. After some time went by Brad returned and answered every question we had and more. Being a Yamaha owner himself he was able to ease my mind on almost every aspect of the boat. Not having the color we wanted in stock, they called around and found the one we wanted. This was all on a Saturday. They went and picked it up and had it ready for us in time for us to be on the water the very next Saturday. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. I would recommend Lodder's Marine to anyone in the market. If you go make sure you ask for Brad.
