Jim’s Anchorage absolutely saved my entire Raystown vacation. They diagnosed and fixed a major issue on my boat in the same day. The price was fair and the staff was friendly and courteous. I couldn’t recommend this place any more!!!
I have been with Jims since 2020 when I inherited my father's 2003 pontoon boat from FL & wanted to keep it at Raystown. Never having been a boat owner, I had NO idea what to do or what was needed for maintenance. Jim's has gone above & beyond my expectations. They are professional & personable. They provide advice for repairs or upgrades wanted without upselling. The storage facility is beautiful & clean and they have always taken great care of my boat. I have had several upgrades that are not services they would typically offer, and yet they have accommodated (new seat installs, upgraded stereo systems, bost wraps, etc). I HIGHLY recommend them for ALL your boat needs.
We were on the lake with our 2019 South Bay Pontoon when our150 hp Evinrude eTech engine suffered a catastrophic engine failure. There was a hole in the engine block the size of a quarter! Took it to Jim’s and fortunately it was still under extended warranty and luckily Evinrude is still manufacturing parts and quickly got them to Jim’s. They us back on the water in under 2 weeks!!!! I honestly thought our season was over! Thank You Jim’s Anchorage and Evinrude for the quick action!
Very knowledgeable and came right out to the lake to evaluate our boat and able to get into the shop the very next morning, quickly fixed issue at a very reasonable price and saved our weekend allowing us to boat at Raystown!
