We had our Tidewater Yamaha 150 serviced on December 18, 2024, at just under 20 hours, which included the first oil change and gear oil, and some gas stabilizer They also cleaned the boat. Awesome job they did.
Quick service and they had the parts I needed in stock.
I shop here often for my tackle needs. The store is on the smaller side but it suits me just fine. Great selection of top name and higher end/quality brands. You'll get what it is your searching for and maybe something else unintended. But you'll leave with a smile nonetheless.
Ask for Tyler. Visited many shops looking for best. Purchased Excel Bay Pro 22 fully loaded. Tyler knows his stuff, very professional and made the process easy, painless and perfect. If you have a lot of questions he has the answers. Thank you!
In a world of big box tackle stores, it's so refreshing to find an awesome local tackle shop! Shane runs an awesome shop and has a great variety of products. He has even ordered in quite a few things that I've needed for my new boat. Skip the big guys and shop local! Awesome selection, fair prices and even better people!

Buying a boat from Fun N Sun Boats N Tackle - Cleburne in Cleburne, Texas? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask Fun N Sun Boats N Tackle - Cleburne which models suit the waterways near Cleburne, Texas.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at Fun N Sun Boats N Tackle - Cleburne.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like Fun N Sun Boats N Tackle - Cleburne will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. Fun N Sun Boats N Tackle - Cleburne should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
