Buying a boat from Easton's Marine in Lawton, Oklahoma? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask Easton's Marine which models suit the waterways near Lawton, Oklahoma.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at Easton's Marine.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like Easton's Marine will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. Easton's Marine should be able to walk you through the paperwork.

I would like to share a positive experience I had recently. While in the Texas panhandle the need for service on my Mercury boat engine became required. I spoke to several fellow fishermen and shared with them that I was heading toward Oklahoma. With that said, AquaMarine in Lawton was suggested. I called them and shared my predicament with Sheldon who transferred me to Adam who promptly made the appointment. Upon my arrival the staff quickly moved the boat into the service bay where Joey did the diagnostic checks and reported to Adam who informed me the repairs would be covered under warranty. While the work was being done I spent some time in the showroom and took an interest in a new boat. I spoke to the sales staff and then was introduced to the owner. We talked about my options and in the end I traded in my boat and purchased a new Tracker Targa. I had been looking around for an upgrade but had not made any decisions about a new model. The 19 foot Targa met my needs but the main reason I purchased the Targa here was the store employees' attitudes and willingness to help me. They all did a great job and I was very satisfied with the deal. I will not hesitate to return for service and upgrades every year when I visit old friends in western Oklahoma and my new friends in Lawton.
Wow! The nerve of these people! Sell someone a $70,000 boat and then the loyal customer brings it back for winterization only to find that they park it outside in the snowstorm without so much as even a call to let us know that we can pick it up before the storm hits because they don’t have anywhere indoors to keep our boat. WHY park a brand new boat out in a snowstorm without even calling to see if we wanted to bring our cover back or anything at all just park it outdoors in the worst weather! Why not just call us and let us know that they were going to leave our boat with 2 feet of snow sitting inside of it for three days? They also charged more than they told us they would charge for the winterization and did not care whatsoever when we complained about them leaving our boat out in the snow without so much as a phone call. I gave them plenty of opportunities to offer making at least this service charges accurate but they came up with more excuses and basically just said oh well! You would think after being so careless with someone’s investment as to leave it out in a snowstorm that you would at least try something to make it right, but nothing from them! They should’ve at least offered to charge us the original quoted price for winterization vs more! Completely different people after the purchase!! I wrap ally in my opinion would not trust them when it comes to being honest for my maintenance and insuring that my investment is safe while with them. I will never purchase from them again!
Great group of staff. Very helpful finance guy tried not to make you feel you are at a dealership. Salesman was not pushy but had plenty of answers if asked. The shop guys very polite and very helpful.
Aquamarine formally Eastons marine in Lawton, OK by far the absolute best experience buying our first boat. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable gentlemen that answered every seemingly dumb question I had. Highly recommend and would absolutely go back again!!
10/10 do not recommend this company, they’ll sell you a $40,000 boat tell you that the warranty you bought covers everything. When your boat cover gets destroyed in the storms they’ll send off your cover to Tracker which will refuse to replace or repair and then AquaMarine - Lawton will let you know the warranty sold was for the motor only and that you can pick up your shredded cover when it gets back and good luck, not to mention on DAY ONE when we bought the boat it already had a hole that they said they would replace the cover!! 😂 what a joke!
