I approached the broker for a Trophy 1903 center console. Long story short I was initially told "The boat is in great shape and the motor runs well". The listing text, the pictures and the video didn't hint at any issue. After signing a YBAA deposit and paying a deposit, I was asked to sign another contract! My refusal triggered all sorts of conspiracy theories. Eventually the boat was surveyed and was found to exhibit amazingly extensive stress cracking. The agent is now asserting that there were expenses incurred for the survey. Worst experience with a brokerage firm in my life. Edit: my refund request will be passed to the billing department Edit: I signed a contract on the 25th January, now the agent is asking me to reject a contract dated 30th January
