Would give 10 stars if possible! Can't say enough good things about this business and the owners. Shawn Donnelly recently sold my boat for me and he was great! First of all, I contacted several boat brokers in the area and most refused to represent me because the boat was a stern drive (not an outboard) and also because it wasn't expensive enough! However, Shawn did not hesitate to take the boat despite the fact that there wasn't a huge commission in it for him and it was going to take some work for him to sell a stern drive vessel. I had recently had the boat serviced before Shawn picked it up and, in spite of the recent service, an oil leak soon became apparent. After this was traced to a rusted dip stick tube, an effort was made to get the boat serviced/repaired at the dealership where the boat was purchased and then regularly serviced for 10+ years. The dealer refused to service the boat and I didn't know what to do. However, Shawn and his father, Chris, personally assumed the responsibility to get the boat fixed and ready for sale. The boat was sold shortly after that! So, if you are buying or selling a boat in the Savannah/Hilton Head area, I strongly recommend Donnelly Yachts. Shawn and Chris are men of honesty and integrity, qualities that are getting harder to find in the business world today.
