Couldn’t resist purchasing my 4th boat from D&R. My salesman Robert treats everyone like family with the best deals in the business! Purchased my 290 XSS Crownline from D&R Boats last September 2024 at the AC boat show. Rob and his wife, Pam were great, the purchase went smooth. This past Sunday (Aug 10th) I had a issue with the steering system and the bilge pump. I emailed Rob that night so that he would have it for Monday morning. First thing Monday morning Henry called me and I explained the issues, I told Henry that I was working on having the boat towed to D&R Boats, located at East Dover Marina 605 Fischer BLVD. Toms River, NJ 08753, because I wasn’t comfortable driving the boat. Later that morning while I was at work, D&R was at my house and fixing the steering issue so that I did not have to have it towed. On Tuesday Robert Barone Jr, (Junior) came to my house and drove my boat to D&R in order to fix the bilge pump, repair a minor scratch, and repaint the bottom of the engine (recall paint issue). On Wednesday, Henry called me and said that the boat was ready to be picked up, he even asked if I wanted it to be driven back to my dock. I thanked him very much but I felt they had already gone above and beyond and I went and picked my boat up. The boat runs great and the issues were taking care of immediately. Being a new boat owner it brings me great comfort to know that D&R Boats stands by there boats. They are more than willing to go out of there way to ensure that any issues are immediately addressed. Our 2nd Robalo from DnR has arrived!!! Thank you to Robert, Jr and Kevin for everything. Robert was a pleasure to work with especially getting our Robalo custom made ordered from the manufacturer. Kevin made our launch and sea trial a breeze even though weather was less than ideal and Jr is a great asset to the company and when it's time for Sr to kick back and enjoy retirement, DnR will be in great hands. In addition, I had a slight issue with a voltage problem and Jr came out within 2 days and had me back up and running in less than 15 mins. Thank you to all at DnR! Now it's time to slay 🤙🤙
