We bought our boat through Curtis Stokes, sold to us by the broker Michael Martin. We lived on board and did the Great Loop in our boat, on board a total of 3 years. When it came time to sell the boat we went through Michael Martin again with Curtis Stokes, Michael's Point man in Mobile is Robins Flynn, Robin's went out and promoted our boat brought many buyers to it, it took a while but they sold the boat. A very good experience with Curtis Stokes company in general and with Gulf Shores AL broker Robbins Flynn in particular in the recent (Spring 2021) listing and sale of my 1997 Mainship 350 trawler. The entire process from the initial listing through the ultimate sale, less than four months later, was very positive and problem free. Robbins arranged frequent showings and when one potential buyer decided to move on Robbins always seemed to have a new one ready to step up. He was also very helpful in identifying resources to quickly address a few minor issues with my boat that needed to be addressed during the listing and showing process which improved overall value and presentation of the vessel. Once we found the buyer the closing process was smooth and painless. The back office people are true professionals. I am ver pleased with how quick they sold my boat. When shopping for the 1st time folks, it's best to call 1st so you understand this business isn't too much different than real estate. You make an appointment before knocking. They have boats all over the East Coast so its NOT a sales Marina. Many owners are still using their boat while in the market.
