From the moment we first walked in the door at Charles Mill Marina there was a sense of home, and comfort. Our pup Sawyer was immediately greeted and welcomed by everyone, including Millie and Marina. This put him at ease, while privately battling his own anxieties caused by missing his kitties at home. We rented a pontoon! Best decision we have recently made! Sawyer was welcome to come on the pontoon as well! At first we were a little worried that he would be nervous, or immediately hop over the side into the water, but he relaxed and loved every second of being on board! My husband was happy to get back on the water again after 13 years. We caught several fish, and simply enjoyed the peace and quiet out on the lake. The staff and management at Charles Mill Marina are top notch, good people. We have gone in everyday to say hi, and have witnessed firsthand that the staff and management understand what it takes not only to run a business, but how to be genuinely engaged in conversations with others. Which is an aspect of humanity that seems to be disappearing. I would give Charles Mill Marina 10 stars, yet 5 is the limit. From can openers to hopefully a life long bond. Thank you for making our experience a very memorable one!
I had an excellent experience with this team servicing my 4 HP Yamaha outboard. After struggling to resolve an overheating issue on my own, they quickly diagnosed the problem as a broken impeller fragment obstructing the cooling flow. I dropped the motor off in the morning, and by early afternoon it was fully repaired and running properly. They even texted a video confirming a strong water stream. Outstanding service from Melia, Chris, and John. I highly recommend CMM and will gladly refer others at Alum Creek Sailing Association down here in Columbus.
We had a great time here. I rented an 8-seater pontoon boat. No boating license necessary. Easy to reserve online. We booked the sunset cruise which was from 5:30pm-8am. The boat was very comfortable. Had a lot of cup holders, Bluetooth radio, and a doppler. It gets very low in spots so I suggest getting the insurance. Recommend 100%
Came out here from northern New Hampshire to visit some of our oldest and best of friends from my time at Fort Campbell. One of the things my buddy and I always did was to go fishing as a way to de-stress and all that. Well today he brought me here and we rented a boat, went out for a few hours of fishing with one of his daughters and a couple of my kids. We caught absolutely nothing although there were plenty of fish on the sonar! I don’t care one bit about that, it’s fishing, not catching! We had a GREAT time together out on the water. The boat was immaculately clean and perfectly maintained, as far as I can tell at least, (it performed and sounded amazing). The staff at the Marina were exceptionally polite and the….store…kittens were friendly and cute. The water was calm and the weather was perfect; a wonderful day of lazy fishing and lots of laughs!
Just bought a 30hp Suzuki tiller outboard from them. Mike was great to work with and all the other employees were wonderful. They all made my experience easy and hassle free.
