Started with CenterPointe Yacht Services in 2022. Initially they were very good to me. As a newer boater they even took some extra time out to help me understand/learn. Therefore, we used them again! This spring has been a DISASTER! I went into the office to talk to the gentlemen in the fall - with my list of items/concerns to be looked at during the winter heated storage months. The day before we were get our boat out they called to tell us NONE of the service ticket items had been addressed and they needed more time. From there it's only spiraled out of control. Pay to summarize you bilge but apparently the bilge is burnt out? Pay to clean the boat but the boat has not been cleaned. Pay to analyze the boat but not do any of the work. All wrapped up today (late in boating season) to get boat back $2000 cleaned only to have footprints and hand prints all over the deck! and blame us! Insult to injury. Terrible service. Professional thievery. And what can I do? I need/want my boat back! Soooooooooo, you pay! and they smoke a cigarette and laugh in your face as you take off. Not the way to do business!!!! Should be repeat business. Should be easy client/easy business.

Centerpointe Placed my family in harms way ! Boat went in for a simple wash at CenterPointe(CP) Milw. In June 2025. They dropped a boom over our boat crushing and causing much damage to multiple areas esp by the outboard engine. Late in June after their substandard repairs , (misaligned hinges, scratched up seats, warped fiberglass repairs with mismatched color) CP returned our boat back to our slip. End of our boating season In October as our boat came out of water, we discovered multiple missing engine mount bolts part of where damages had occurred. Besides the terrible repairs, they had failed to secure the outboard engine properly. CP had returned our boat totally unsafe to operate during all those months of use! God knows what could have happened to our family. We have been storing and servicing our boats here for years. This place has always been filthy but at least the prior service advisors and management took pride over their workmanship. We trusted them. Much of their old team members are gone and it seems some more will be on their way out. Much has changed for the worse. This Newly family operated management and new service advisors have no sense of responsibility or pride. This location has lost numerous customers since change of command this past season. It seems making more money is much more important to this now family operated facility than keeping their customers safe and out of harms way. We trusted you guys! Shame on you! Joe Moede, Here is actual Factual breakdown: 1. Your family owns CP and your brother was the contractor 2. Your employee at CP hauled out our boat and he dropped the boom on it! You Damn Right you are financially responsible for it! 3. Your company started original repairs without informing me of the incident. It is a joke you say that you promptly informed me, Couple days after incident, When I inquired from your brother when cleaning was going to be finished he replied "Yeah your boat was damaged at CenterPointe. I called and asked for all repairs to be stopped until my inspection of damages. 4. Joe Moede you and PJ convinced me that repairs would result in as good as new so you got the go ahead. 5. I was given no opportunity to inspect the repairs. You returned it in water in our slip. You cannot see engine mount when in water! 6. When season ended our damaged boat with substandard repairs was brought back to you. Joe Moede, I instructed you and PJ NO WORK TO BE PERFORMED WITHOUT MY EXPLICIT AUTHORIZATION until an agreement is reached. But illegally you started repairs anyways and got it to near completion. My rep said there isn't much left to finish unauthorized repairs, I had no choice but let it be completed. 7. Jumping Waves: when operating our boat in Lake Michigan must we come to complete stop every time we come across a wave or go thru it/ jump it!? We have operated this boat the same as prior years never had a loose bolt! not until you guys dropped the boom on it and failed to secure it! 8. ZODIAC inflatables are utilized in military as well as by Coast Guard due to their resilience, durability and maneuverability. It is a tough boat built to withstand rough waters. Maybe the brands that CP sells AB inflatables as well as Highfield boats are not built that way. 9. Fighting to keep your facility clean is a joke. Maybe you should consult with Skipperbuds or Maritime and learn how they keep their facilities clean. 10. When your customers complained of near 20% increased storage rates, you guys laughed and said someone has to pay for the new roof! CP used to charge your customers near $300 to wrap storage boats in plastic to prevent leaky roof damage to boats. 10. Prior Leaky roof stained our boat, CP damaged our boat with damages to Fiberglass, Cowl tear, crushed metal headrest bar, torn up headrest, scratches and scuffing of cushions as well as inflatable tube. This all results in diminished resale value of our boat. CenterPointe is financially Liable and I will pursue this matter.

Went there on Saturday before noon, and I know it's at the end of the season, but they were advertising boats for sale. No one was available to show us the boats. The guys there were pulling boats out of the water, and they called someone, but he wasn't available. I called the person who contacted me when I inquired on boat trader, and he said "there's always spring"! I bought a nice boat in Illinois a week ago.

I used them to service my small, used boat I bought. They were all very friendly and communication was excellent. They even worked with me on timing issues I had with picking it up. They kept in touch during the work and they asked me for input when anything changed. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to them.

Boat Buyer's Guide – CenterPointe Yacht Sales - Milwaukee

Buying a boat from CenterPointe Yacht Sales - Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.

  1. 1

Match the boat to your waters

Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask CenterPointe Yacht Sales - Milwaukee which models suit the waterways near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

  2. 2

    Inspect the hull carefully

Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.

  3. 3

    Check engine hours

Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at CenterPointe Yacht Sales - Milwaukee.

  4. 4

    Request a sea trial

Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like CenterPointe Yacht Sales - Milwaukee will accommodate this request.

  5. 5

    Verify title and registration

Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. CenterPointe Yacht Sales - Milwaukee should be able to walk you through the paperwork.
