Buying a boat from Boat Town - Kingsland in Kingsland, Texas? Use this guide to evaluate any listing before you commit.
Match the boat to your waters
Pontoons and deck boats suit calm lakes. Deep-V hulls handle chop on larger lakes and coastal water. Center consoles are versatile for fishing. Ask Boat Town - Kingsland which models suit the waterways near Kingsland, Texas.
Inspect the hull carefully
Look for stress cracks, blistering, or repairs on fiberglass hulls. Check the transom for soft spots by pressing firmly — a solid transom feels rigid. Osmotic blistering costs thousands to repair.
Check engine hours
Inboard and outboard engines are typically rated to 1,500–3,000 hours. Low-hour engines with service records are worth more. Ask to see oil change and winterization records for any boat at Boat Town - Kingsland.
Request a sea trial
Test the boat on the water before buying. Run it at full throttle. Listen for unusual noises. Check that the throttle and steering respond smoothly. Reputable dealers like Boat Town - Kingsland will accommodate this request.
Verify title and registration
Ask for the current title and confirm the hull identification number (HIN) matches. Check for any liens with your state boating agency. Boat Town - Kingsland should be able to walk you through the paperwork.

Visiting from out of town playing golf in kingsland. Person at the golf course recommended this location for a good burger. It did not disappoint. I had a cheeseburger with fries. Great atmosphere, lots of room with inside and outside patio seating. Inside had TVs all around the wall so you can watch college football on a Saturday afternoon. If you sit outside you get a great view of the LLano River and all the boats going up and down the river. If you're in the area certainly give it a try I don't think you'll be disappointed
Start off by saying trash food and service don't go here unless you want a uncooked raw squishy burger spent 70 dollars on burgers and all of them ended up going to my dog felt kinda bad even giving it to her after I bit into mine could not let anyone else eat that
We were out and about and found this cute burger place for lunch. Decided to give it a try and glad we did. My BTBB burger was delicious and the fries were amazing. The service was awesome and the views were very nice. Will definitely be back when we're in the area again.
Really clean. Food was fresh and very tasty. I had fried catfish, it was great. My husband had American burger, he really liked it. Great view. Really loved that we could dock our boat there. Definitely will go back
What a great spot, food is tasty, location amazing and the staff was top notch. Big bar area, amazing patio and we had live music as well. Great experience all around.
