Awesome think I got a little sun today
I unloaded my boat this past weekend at the lake. As i parked the trailer i noticed the wood slat on the passenger side broke and I could not load my boat back up. On a Saturday afternoon I stopped in and they were nothing but responsive and eager to help. They completed the work in 45 minutes and contacted me that everything was ready. Service and response was great even during their busy season! I would use them again the next time i am in need
I had BLM attach new snaps to a custom ordered cover. The cover was a bow cover and ran about $400.00. Not only did they double punch snaps into the cover, they actually adhered additional snaps to the fiberglass of my boat!! Yep. No kidding. It was the sloppiest service I’ve ever received. Worse? The owner, Chuck Brink, could have cared less. Nothing whatsoever done to take care of it. There was a time that they came down to repair a guage on my boat, on the lift, no problem and no pushback. Great experience. HOWEVER, my latest, well, I hung up on him. When they refuse to drive seven miles (I’m willing to compensate for mileage and time) and compare themselves to a “Chevy Dealer” and then, are lazy enough that they don’t look up the actual boat you are referring to, simply assuming. No thanks. There are plenty others that value business. Beaver Lake Marina is certainly far from that. Go/call elsewhere.
Beautiful scenery and tranquil ambiance, tucked away from Hwy 75 and bordering the north side of the Lakeridge Golf course, this is a hidden gem worth checking out. It may be a private lake, the majority of club members are friendly and quite social, invites to events, access to the lake and beach can be easily arranged through proper social channels The Yearly Fourth of July, sponsored and executed by local resident Jim Howe (RoadKill), is a spectical to witness. This professional quality show is memorizing and worth every moment. Filled with oos and ahs, there may even be a surprise or two while enjoying the show as it's reflected off the lake. Truely a grand display of patriotism.
