I live 2 and a half hours away I drove down thier after communicating with them on the phone a few times. very simply and friendly people. I pretty much told them what I wanted to pay for the boat I bought. Stone rold ne I can do that and he did. it was 6 degrees outside when we got their and I broke a knob on the seat and they said it's ok and they fixed it right. their. the easiest experience I have ever had buying anything thank you Stone and anglers port marine. ill be back again someday
We were dealing with Berry, we dropped off our pontoon for detailing. They told us to pick it up in a week. We gave them 3 weeks but when we went to pick it up he forgot about us and the boat was not even touched. Now he has a rush job trying to clean it. The outside of our black pontoon is now chalky white like oxidation. The boat has been stored in the garage every year ever since we’ve bought it. It has never spent the time out in the sun except for in the summer when we use it. When I ask Berry why it was so chalky and I could see the overspray of the chemicals that they had used. He said that just take the boat and get the hell out of here. I told him the outside looked worse and he argued that it did not. I want to speak with the owner. Haven’t gotten a callback from them yet. You would think if I take the boat back to the place that I bought it I would’ve had a better job and he would’ve been more respectful.but he badmouth me and was badmouth me to all of the people in the parking lot that would listen to him. I ask him what I could use on the boat to get it back up to the black shine that it was before I dropped it off. And he told me to Google it that’s what Google was for. I just wanted to know what was sprayed on the boat so that I’m able to get a cleaner to be able to try to clean it off. He has created a bigger problem for me than I had. If you’re stopping here, I suggest maybe be driving on because they do not have very good customer service.
