Stay away from Anderson Marine they are nothing but incompetent thieves. After my boat sat there for 6 weeks. They tried to charge me over 7k for work on my boat when 2 of it was warranty work. They also decided to replaced parts without my approval. My boat has been there twice and both times they have managed to damage my brand new trailer. The first time they took responsibility for it and sent me new parts for it because I caught it before I left. The second time I didn’t notice until I got back and unhooked my trailer. I sent them pictures and not only did they deny it they never answered me back and tried to blame me after I sent them. You would think if you someone a 400k boat to work on they would treat it as such. Don’t let them take advantage of you or better yet destroy your boat or trailer find another dealer even it is farther away the service advisors are nothing but clowns.
The first thing I want to say is, I have been a customer at Anderson for about a decade. I have posted favorable reviews, and built positive relationships with the people at this Marine dealer. I have purchased multiple boats, motors, upgrades, and services here. So, this is not easy. Recently I had a service and had several addons put on the boat. Needless to say, from the start of this post I am deeply upset with the service I received. To paint a small picture, I have a center console, purchased from Anderson. I purchased a new fish finder for the console, from Anderson, to have installed. Now, they had to cut out the mounting hole for the unit, which is also accessible through the center console space. I picked the boat up, spent thousands and thousands on the job, and took it straight to the gas station to refuel it before putting her back in the slip. I was shocked at the job they did. The more and more I looked at it, the madder I got. After cutting all the fiberglass out (inside the console and out), and installing the unit, they just left it. The cutting dust and left-over chunk material from all the cutting was just left in the console and all over the helm and inside the cup holders. Inside the console, there is a mounted (hard wired) light, that was left dangling (NOT WORKING!). This is unacceptable service! For your sake I hope this is not the new service quality from your dealership. Good luck in the future! The pic's don't show just how bad this was.
Was pretty happy that I got my boat fixed and running perfect, and the price was pretty good. I kinda didn’t like that they never called me to tell me what they found or gonna do to my boat but just did the work, Also did something that I had already done but oh well. When you go to pick it up they won’t help you hook up or find your boat you just have to drive to find it on the lot. The lady at the front desk in the sales department is really nice. I would consider buying a boat from them in the future.
Anderson marine took great care of us and spent so much time with us getting us acquainted with our boat! If you go ask for Dennis Hughes!! I do not like being sold on anything and was skeptical to walk in to a dealership to be honest but he is so honest and patient and helpful! Great experience, great selection and great salesman 😊
