The short of it is these guys are dishonest and unwilling to take responsibility for something that happened to my boat while under their possession. As far as the details... I purchased a boat that had been maintained at this marina for several years and intended to continue maintenance here since it was recommended to me. I noted everything that was broken and took it to the marina to be serviced. This included small details such as the water pump, live well, and port side docking and head compartment lights that were out. After having my boat for almost 3 weeks, I picked up the boat and saw the compass at the helm was completely cracked through that the liquid had drained and made it non-functional. I immediately called that day to report and simply asked it to be fixed since it occurred under their possession. There was no acceptance of responsibility nor willingness to fix. When I spoke with Al, instead of taking responsibility, he blamed me and insinuated it was already broken when they received it. If I went through the entire boat in the detail that I did, how is it possible that I did not see a broken compass right in front of my face? SAVE YOUR BOAT, MONEY, AND TIME AND STEER CLEAR OF THESE GUYS.

I bought a used boat here in June 2020 and it was a great experience. Al and David are both patient and helpful. No pressure, just fair dealings. Our boat was not expensive, but they still treated us as if we were important to them. Every need I had, they addressed. I've never been to AllStar before, went because I saw one option on the Internet. It wasn't right. I told them what we wanted, and when it came in, they called me. All minor issues with the boat, they fixed. Very good experience.
What a great place -friendly staff, extremely fair prices! Dave is a great guy who spent a lot of time with us on our new purchase. He even made himself available on his personal time.
