I have been boating for 30 years and have dealt with many Marinas. Action Marine is far and away the best I have dealt with to date. If you are in the world of boating Action Marine is the place to go. Prompt service, keep there word and a fair price. Five stars all the way.
I am not a big poster of reviews but I felt almost morally obligated to leave a review for Action Marine, they are that wonderful. When I was thinking about what to say what I kept I kept thinking was how wonderful it would be if every service company were this devoted to their customers. Julie at Action Marine is 1000% committed to serving her customers and excels at it. They go out of their way to see that you are satisfied and their service is always phenomenal. I can't praise them highly enough. Do not service your boat or ATV nor purchase any equipment from anyplace else. This is the place to go.
Amazing Service, Action is home to one of the only Yamaha Master Technitions in the area (I'm in Chicago and they're the closest) I called in with a question Yamahas own customer service couldn't answer and they got me an answer in a few minutes. That kind of kindness and care for a client is rarely seen anymore. I try to do it for my clients here in Chicago, and I'm honored to publicly recognize another group that cares. Thank you Keith!
I purchased a used boat from Action Marine on 8/24/21. Keith was great to work with. Super nice, answered all my questions, and brought me to talk with the tech who did the initial inspection. I never at any time felt pressured. I will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases. Thanks!
After being refused by 4 Marinas in the area because they were busy winterizing boats or getting ready for the boat show. One place did winterize it then told me there was an engine problem that they could not repair. I called Julie at Action she gave me an appointment for a couple days later. I brought the boat up and Chris signed me in and asked exactly what I needed done. I needed a new water pump and the engine checked to repair what the other marina said was wrong. The next day in the afternoon my boat was done. The problem was a bad spark plug. When I came to pick up the boat James the master mechanic took me in the back, gave me a computer print out on my engine. He explained everything he did and why.
