Well, I LOVE the car. But once they figured out we may be writing a check instead of financing they added 1500 dollars to the already agreed upon price. (Not the 500 financing discount but other stuff as we expected that fee to be added) We noticed and made them take it all off. It was a “resist all” fee and a “front accessories” fee. You don’t add stuff after an agreed price proposal. Wasn’t the best buying experience as we had to say something about that or they woulda stuck us with it. That is dishonest and it’s why I hate dealerships and they are nothing short of the typical dealership.
Customer service, I worked with both Will and Mike (Stivers Montgomery) both were very helpful. We purchased two vehicle from them a Ranger and a Bronco Sport, we were able to agree on a price for both vehicles very easily. The Ranger I was looking to buy was on the lot at Stivers of Birmingham. Because I would be unable to leave with the Ranger I was purchasing they provided me with a Ranger to drive until it arrived on Monday (1-5-26). While my wife and I were removing items from our old vehicles we were informed by Will that there was some kind of miss information from Stivers of Birmingham and the Ranger we agreed on was not available for purchase. Will explained that Stivers of Montgomery had another Ranger for sale but it was being used as a loaner but will be returned also one 1-5-26. This Ranger met my list of requirements but also had other nicer features (than the Ranger in Birmingham) that I would normally not want to pay for. Will said he already had approval to sell me the nicer Ranger than the one I originally agreed to for the same price. The Bronco sport we purchased was on the lot, prior to my wife leaving with it they detailed the vehicle and gave us a full tank of gas. The Ranger I purchased was turned back in on Monday as promised, when I arrived at Stivers of Montgomery after work they had the Ranger detailed and a fuel tank of gas. Will made sure that prior to us leaving he helped set up the ford app do we could lock/unlock and start our vehicle using our phones. In the future I have no doubt that when I need a new vehicle, Stivers of Montgomery will be where I go. Thanks again, John Delaney
