Came in today to look at a few cars to purchase and have shipped back home. The first salesman kind of talked to me for 5 seconds, then he got distracted with other things to do. At this point I just wanted to find out about the cars. The second salesman was very nice, but at this point I already decided to not buy anything. I'll wait until I get home. Then order them online, I'm just wondering if this is why sales are so slow in the car industry. That this dealership definitely missed the point and not giving me the experience that I've had at other dealerships. So I don't know if it's they were too busy to take me for a real customer or not. So next time I won't make an effort to even go out to the dealerships anymore and look at any cars. Definitely going to be a in the future on how I purchase a vehicle. Just going to rent one from a large rental company test driving on a long test drive. Then just order one from a dealer site on scene. Figure that a new one will be better than one that's been driven but also one that's been driven. You can see the possibilities of what the future breakdowns would be. But I thought dealerships were in the business of selling cars not blowing off customers as a waste of time. Just like everything else, the internet has broken, how people interact. Definitely didn't mean make me feel welcome to the brand at all. And I've owned several exotic type cars.
I stopped by the dealership today and although they didn’t have the model that I was looking for, Anthony in sales was so helpful talking to me about possibly buying the car that I’m looking for in another state. He really took his time and gave me the best service ever. Loads of tips and tactics to find the perfect car. Very personable and knowledgeable on all things Porsche! Definitely recommend this dealership; 5 star service..
I really enjoyed my buying experience at Porsche San Diego. They had the car I wanted and were very easy to work with. Andrew Kang was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions and made the buying experience quick and easy. They had PPF installed and shipped to me once complete.
I went to Porsche San Diego (Mira Mesa) today (July 29) to buy a car. I had an appointment and arrived on time, fully ready to purchase the blue Taycan. The sales rep, A . didn’t even show me the car or speak to me. He just handed me a piece of paper and walked away. He didn’t answer any of my questions and completely ignored me. Today was my only free day, and I spent hours waiting outside with no help. I was a serious buyer, but I was treated like I didn’t exist. I will never forget this level of disrespect and neglect. My trust in this brand is seriously damaged. Absolutely not recommended.Absolutely not recommended. I previously purchased a Range Rover from this location and had a great experience, but this time was completely different. I was treated with clear disrespect and felt that racism played a role in how I was ignored. This is unacceptable. I strongly recommend that you go to a different Porsche dealership instead.
I have really great experiences at SD Porsche service for many years (since the 1980's). I have bought several Porsches over the years and always have them serviced at SD Porsche. The staff is super friendly, and the service is excellent.

Shopping for a vehicle at Porsche San Diego? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Porsche San Diego if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Porsche San Diego if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Porsche San Diego.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting Porsche San Diego puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms
