I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Karl Malone Cycle (or as I now call it, Karl Baloney Cycle), and let me tell you, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I went in looking for a reliable dirt bike for my son, and the salesman hyped up this used model as “practically new” with no issues whatsoever. We paid a premium price thinking we were getting a solid deal, but within two weeks of riding it lightly on trails, the engine started sputtering, the brakes felt spongy, and it leaked oil everywhere. It was clearly a lemon – poorly maintained and probably hiding a ton of underlying problems that they conveniently overlooked during their so-called “inspection.” When I brought it back, expecting them to honor their warranty or at least make it right, they flat-out refused. The service manager gave me some lame excuse about “normal wear and tear” and said it wasn’t covered. Then, they had the audacity to quote me an outrageous $4,500 to fix it, claiming it needed a full engine rebuild, new brakes, and a bunch of other overkill repairs. I was floored – that’s more than half what I paid for the bike! Feeling scammed, I took it to two other reputable dirt bike shops in the area for second opinions. Both diagnosed similar issues but quoted me around $2,500 total, which is a whopping $2,000 less than Karl Baloney’s inflated price. One mechanic even laughed and said their quote sounded like highway robbery, designed to scare customers away rather than actually help. But wait, it gets worse. During the initial purchase, the salesman tacked on a $50 “tire disposal fee” to the bill. Tire disposal? We didn’t replace or dispose of any tires – the bike came with its original set, and we left with the same ones. When I questioned it, he mumbled something about it being a standard fee for environmental reasons, but it was pure baloney. It felt like they were just nickel-and-diming us for every penny they could squeeze out. The whole experience left me feeling ripped off and frustrated. The staff was rude and dismissive throughout, acting like I was the problem for expecting basic customer service. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Karl Malone Cycle. There are plenty of honest powersports dealers out there who won’t sell you a dud and then abandon you. One star is generous – zero if I could. Save your money and your sanity; go elsewhere for your dirt bike needs. This place is all hype and no integrity.

Got a good price on a used triumph from these folks. Negotiated a solid price on the bike via phone with Ben, then showed up to pick it up and Evan was on point with the title and financing side of things. There were no hidden fees, no shady financing, no high pressure sales and I appreciate every one of those when making a big purchase. Couldn't be happier with the bike or the buying experience. Good job folks, keep running a clean, solid business out there! If I lived closer you'd have a repeat customer. Also their shop got me sorted with a couple of fine thread nuts for my phone mount to get me on the road. Much appreciated.

Blair and Kyler at Karl Malone Powersports is fantastic to work with. They’re always friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful, and they make the whole parts process easy. They’re great about getting snowmobile parts ordered quickly and keeping things moving so there’s no unnecessary downtime.
