Shopping for a vehicle at Eagle Rock Indian Motorcycle in Idaho Falls, Idaho? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Eagle Rock Indian Motorcycle if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Eagle Rock Indian Motorcycle if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Eagle Rock Indian Motorcycle.

Scott Brazil and Matt made buying a new motorcycle such a good experience! I wasn’t even looking for a new bike but I spotted the perfect one as I was browsing. Everyone here was super friendly and made me feel welcome. Will continue to do business with them in the future. Thanks again guys!!!
Hands down the best buying experience I have had purchasing a new motorcycle in 30 years of riding. From the owner Scott answering my questions to having the GM Scott call me back and discussing what I wanted and needed. Rosie in financing getting my paperwork squared away and getting me a lower interest rate than my bank. I could fly in, drive or ship the bike. Scott quickly got me a quote for shipping, and coordinated the shipping once purchase was complete. From first conversation Monday afternoon and deliver of my bike to Boise by 1230 on Friday. I was ridding my Aprilia Tuano V4 Factory the rest of the day. From start to finish awesome customer service. If you are in the treasure valley get out and find a motorcycle dealer that wants to help you get the Motorcycle you want. Get on the phone and give Idaho Motorcycle co a call. They will take care of you. From their showroom to my room. Thank you Max
I purchased a new CFMOTO ZForce950 trail from Eagle Rock Indian motorcycle in mid June. After I got it home I noticed that the plastic on the back had a broken spot. The dealer was closed so had to wait until they opened on Tuesday. Their initial response was not our problem. I looked at the picture I had taken of it on the trailer before I left the dealer and when I zoomed in you can see the damage. I sent the picture to them and then they said they would split the cost on the part and my share would be $225. I called another dealer and found out the retail price on the part was 449.99 with a dealer cost just over $300. When I contacted Eagle Rock they held to the $225 being half of their cost. Now they won’t return my phone calls.
(update at the bottom) I recently purchased two CFMOTO CForce 600 Touring ATVs and have encountered several issues with both the sales and service experience that I believe merit serious attention. At the time of purchase, I was informed that the hand brake and foot brake operated in unison under all conditions. This representation was materially inaccurate. In actuality, the hand brake functions independently on the front brakes, while the foot brake engages both the front and rear braking systems. The synchronization of the hand and foot brakes occurs only when the vehicle is engaged in four-wheel drive (4WD) mode, due to the specific configuration of the drivetrain. This misinformation impacted my purchasing decision and reflects a lack of product knowledge or a deliberate misrepresentation by the sales team. Additionally, when I inquired about the break-in period, I was told to "ride it like you own it." This advice directly contradicts the official CFMOTO manual and all credible sources I later consulted. Proper break-in procedures are critical for long-term vehicle performance and reliability, and receiving inaccurate guidance is unacceptable. On my first outing with ATV #1, the windshield (which I paid approximately $200 for and had installed by the dealership) broke at one of the mounting points. When I returned to the dealership, I was initially denied a refund and only offered an exchange. After a contentious discussion at the parts counter, I was eventually told the dealership would check with CFMOTO. I later learned that CFMOTO had no issue issuing a refund, which raises concerns about the dealership’s initial handling of the situation. ATV #2 presented throttle issues on its first ride. The vehicle would stall when coming to a stop, and at times would bog down when the throttle was applied. The only way to regain power was to repeatedly pump the throttle. I brought the unit in for service, assuming this would be covered under the warranty. However, the initial charge was $150 for the inspection because “no fault was found.” I was not informed in advance that diagnostic charges would apply if no fault was detected. Had I known, I would not have agreed to the service under those terms. The shop manager ultimately offered a 50% discount, recognizing my frustration, but I remain dissatisfied with the unresolved issue and being charged for a service that yielded no resolution. While the sales staff was courteous, I did feel significant pressure during the signing process to purchase extended warranties and add-ons. It required multiple refusals before I was allowed to proceed with the base purchase. Furthermore, despite having cash in hand, the purchasing process for each ATV took 3 to 4 hours—a duration that seemed unnecessarily long for a straightforward transaction. In summary, this experience has been frustrating and disappointing, particularly given the large investment involved. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve transparency, customer communication, and service practices moving forward. *** Update 7/23/25 *** Scott contacted me in response to my review and conducted the conversation with professionalism and courtesy. During our discussion, he clarified a misunderstanding I had regarding the braking system. Based on the accurate information he provided, I have updated my review to reflect the correct functionality. Scott also inquired if there was anything he could do to resolve the matter. While I appreciated the gesture, I believe the situation has already run its course. The only meaningful resolution at this point might have been a refund of the service fee I paid, though this was not offered. In light of the constructive conversation, I have revised my rating from one star to three stars. I am willing to give the company another opportunity in the future.
