Edited Review: Kind people, but know what you're getting into (not recommended for first-time car buyers) CarSimple is different from a typical dealership in that they are a sales broker for individual sellers. So you are buying a used car from a private seller but with an additional level of security. However, the company does not take much responsibility for anything wrong with the car because of this. I originally left a bad rating but am updating this with new information and because they responded well to my complaints. PROS: - they have a 3rd party mechanic do a multi-point inspection of the engine - although I bought the car for more than the KBB market price, it was considerably less expensive than many other dealerships - they handled changing the title and registration and got all the paperwork done - the sales team was very kind and easy-going - they helped address my concerns somewhat, fixing one issue (the screws for the license) and offering a small reimbursement (for windshield wipers) - I'm happy with my car purchase despite the complaints I've had CONS: - the multi-point inspection may not be super thorough. I haven't had engine issues, but there were several smaller issues that were not disclosed, which I was unhappy with (see my original rating below for details, including windshield wipers, spare tire set, owners manual, and license plate screws) - the documentation process seemed rushed at the end of the day, and they didn't send me the rest of the paperwork for several days - they did ask me to sign a document that contradicted something they promised me (see original review), which I refused to do - because they sell the car "as is" and they are just a broker, they don't take responsibility for issues with the car unless you find them before the sale RECOMMENDATIONS: - if you consider buying from CarSimple, THOROUGHLY inspect the car and take it to another mechanic - know that if there are any issues that come up, they may or may not help address them Overall, I feel they were not as transparent as I would have liked, and the quality of sale was not assured. They are helpful and kind, but be sure to inspect thoroughly before buying. _____________________________ Original Review: NOT A TRANSPARENT SALES TEAM I was going to rate this three stars because the sales team was easy to work with and the car isn't bad, but I no longer trust the quality of the sale at all. There were several issues with the vehicle that they did not disclose despite their "multi-point inspection," including broken windshield wipers, no spare tire or jack, and no owners manual. They also signed a document stating they owed a new windshield with alignment as part of the sale (the original had a large crack). They signed that with pen and later tried to get me to sign the same document electronically except it said they owed me nothing. I refused until they replaced my windshield. Not to mention that they waited several days before sending me the remaining documents to finalize the registration transfer, even though I paid full price on site. Now I am finally getting my license plate and registration, and there is an issue with the screws for the license plate. The screw well is broken and no one can remove the screw. I hope they will help me but am already annoyed at the prospect of driving all the way back, even if they agree to help. The price was better than some other places, but I would not trust that you are getting a good quality car, no matter what they say.

Oh my goodness it was so amazing! this was my first time buying a car myself, and they made it so welcoming and explained things I didnt understand. The cars are really clean and looked really reliable. Bonus! when going to test drive some cars they drove the cars to me and opened the doors to tell me about the car which really showed how much they cared and showed how professional they were. 10/10 would recomend!! Name says it all! Car Simple. This was the easiest and quickest process I have ever had the pleasure of being part of. Before arriving i called and spoke with Todd about the vehicle i wanted, Todd was very professional and quick to respond back. We did some minor negotiating and they took care of the financing as well. We drove 9.5 hours to pick of the vehicle we were interested in and Todd and Tim had everything all ready to sign when we arrived. Paperwork only took 20 minutes and not once did I ever feel pressured into anything! As soon as we showed up these gentlemen treated us like friends, even listening to incoherent talk from sleep deprived and over energized me. Highly recommend and I will be dealing with them again when the time comes! You guys are awesome
