Shopping for a vehicle at C & R Trailer Sales in Tremonton, Utah? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask C & R Trailer Sales if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask C & R Trailer Sales if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at C & R Trailer Sales.
Auto financing is competitive. A little preparation before visiting C & R Trailer Sales in Tremonton, Utah puts you in a stronger position.
Typical Loan Terms

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Experience with C&R Trailers! We bought our Cedar Creek Experience 39RKB from C&R Trailers in Utah, completely sight unseen, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made. From start to finish, Kevin walked us through the entire factory order process and treated my family like his own. His communication, honesty, and attention to detail made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. Debbie in finance was also fantastic to work with. She made everything smooth and easy, even when I changed my mind a few times. She was patient, thorough, and made sure every detail was handled perfectly. What really stood out was their commitment to customer service. They spent over 4½ hours doing a full walkthrough with my wife, making sure she understood every detail of the trailer before we even took ownership. C&R Trailers truly goes above and beyond for their customers. I’d give them more than five stars if I could. Highly recommend Kevin, Debbie, and the entire team!
5 Big Stars ✨! The professionalism exhibited at C&R Auto& Trailer Sales was second to none. I was very fortunate enough to have made my first horse trailer buy from here. In addition a BIG shout out to Joe my salesman. An absolute gentleman who was very professional & answered all of my questions & guided me through the whole process. The trailer I wanted was at their other dealer in Montana. Joe made it happen and had my horse trailer routed here to Utah where I made my purchase. I will recommend C&R Auto & Trailer Sales to anyone in the market looking for a horse trailer.
Went in had a great experience and found a trailer I really did like. The sales person was excellent and friendly, and knew what he was talking about. He said he would call me the next day tonfinish up a few things, cuz I did kinda go in a bit later then I should have (it was 4). Well I still haven't heard from him this was 3 weeks ago.
My husband and I bought a trailer here in August. It is a used snowmobile trailer that, because of low snow conditions this year, we have only used three times this season. The trailer had some weather stripping across the front door that fell off when opening the door. Both the front and rear doors had clear plastic coverings so that when you drive over them your skis and skags don't get caught. These ALSO snapped upon opening the door(s). All these things were clearly new installs upon purchase because there were no wear marks on anything, which we immediately started to see when we put our own sleds in there, so it's obvious it was new stuff. All that is to say they clearly used the cheapest materials they could find and installed it so they could mark up the price of the trailer, and now that it has broken, they only say it isn't their responsibility and won't do anything about it. I should've known better because the first trailer we went to look at, they covered the rotten floor with rubber tiles to make it look new. The only reason we were able to tell those floors were rotten is because the actual wood under the tiles had holes in it, and I could see sunlight through the tiles. So BEWARE. They are clearly very good at covering up problems, as well as using terrible materials to make something appear nicer than it is. Their customer service is also horrible, as my husband has been trying to reach them for days with no calls, emails, texts, etc. back to him. I had to call them myself and actual talk to someone, only for them to say "it's your problem." We DO understand that if this were something we CAUSED to happen, we would gladly take responsibility and replace it, but it's pretty sad to purchase a SNOWMOBILE TRAILER, made for SNOWMOBILING AND COLD WEATHER, only for the materials to literally break on a 20 degree Fahrenheit day on it's second use. AND ALL WE DID WAS OPEN THE DOORS. Are we not supposed to open the doors!?! We would've definitely been back in the future because we are always wanting to upgrade according to our budget and needs, but we certainly won't be returning to C&R. Idk if you will see this as I can't find a way to reply to your response. We've had the trailer five months, not six, and yeah, it's a snowmobile trailer. We wouldn't have used it until there was snow, and as I'm sure you know, it's been a bad year. So you're right... we liked it until we used it, which was not until recently. You talked to my husband yesterday, not me. I hadn't posted a review until now. He did, but I'm sure he changed his review to reflect our experience. Customer service is important. It shouldn't stop the moment we walk out the door after you have our money. As stated, it was brand new stuff (yes, on a nearly $20,000 used trailer that you "renovated" so you could charge more) that couldn't even hold up through a couple uses. It's just sad you install these things to mark up the trailer and make us spend more, then they fail immediately. We live 4.5 hrs from you, so we weren't interested in bringing it in to you for service. He was going to ask that you mail replacement parts that he could himself install, but the conversation never got there. We will definitely just buy our own, nicer replacement parts that will actually last and replace them ourselves this summer.
I had an excellent experience at C & R Trailer Sales! Ben, Lorenz, and Debbie were super friendly, fun, and engaging, creating an inviting atmosphere that was both casual and professional. They have a wide breadth of knowledge in customizing trailers to meet every need and offer no pressure sales, taking the time to answer every question I had. Plus, they service their trailers to ensure they’re in top condition. I couldn’t be happier with the end result, and the selection was impressive. The pickup was smooth with my trailer ready to go. I highly recommend giving C & R Trailer Sales a visit for anyone looking for quality trailers and exceptional service!
