I recently purchased a truck from Butter’s Auto, and Jeff was great to work with. Having bought another vehicle earlier this year from a large dealership, this was a refreshing change of pace — the way car buying used to be. Butter’s Auto feels like a good old-fashioned local dealership where everything is straightforward and fair. Negotiating was easy, there were no crazy add-on fees like you see at big dealers, and Jeff was very accommodating working with my bank. Overall, a smooth and honest experience. I’d definitely recommend checking them out if they have a vehicle you’re interested in — I’d happily buy from Butter’s again.
I bought a vehicle from this company. They thought it was the thermostat so did we we replaced it? It still had a problem took it and paid $168 to find out that it has a blown head gasket when I tried to call them to ask them to help me to repair it not even pay for it all themselves they refused. I paid 3500 for the vehicle and now have a $4000 repair bill that I’m going to have to pay if I want to keep the vehicle he tried to tell me I was blackmailing him and all kinds of things and all I was doing was trying to get help
Called about a 1200.00 infinity that was listed online. First red flag is that Jeff, I guess, had no one in the office to talk about the car and that he wouldn't be there the rest of the day. Office hours are irregular and inaccurate. Secondly he got very short when I asked about emissions and wanted to charge 500.00 extra to have this minimal item done. Really, any reputable dealer would have emissions on the cars they sale. His whole process behind this is SUPER shady and I could feel the energy shift as soon as I brought this up. Oh well, more money for someone more integrous :) sorry, not sorry, to whomever has to answer these reviews. You must be miserable!
I give ZERO stars! This place is a complete JOKE! Jeff sold an 18 year old girl a lemon of a car and totally screwed her over. After having the car for only a week it no longer runs, yet he has washed his hands of it. Nice job there, buddy...you're a top notch winner! Stay FAR away from this shady place. This place is where used car lots get their bad reputation! Seriously though...look at the color of the oil!
I bought a car from Jeff in April and while the car-buying experience was atypical, I am very satisfied with the service and vehicle. There was NO pressure to buy. My advice based on other reviews: do your research before you buy ANY used car! I got a Carfax report and I was able to get it inspected next door at Roy 66. There are a few things I will need to get fixed up in the coming months, as is common with most used cars these days. Jeff priced the car more than fair, and I am thrilled with my purchase. My mom and I will recommend Butters to friends and family looking for an affordable used car that may need some work done.
