Worst car dealership ever! First off salesman needed to call the owner anytime we had a question(I should have known) paid for an extended warranty when called and asked about it they knew the cars alternator needed to be replaced and then found out it’s not covered. This place takes advantage of you buyer be warned! I’m a single mom with a special needs kid and these people had no issues taking advantage of me.

This company is full of BS. I bought a car from this place back in Feb of this year. Paid well enough for the car to last at least 2yrs, not even 2 weeks later it overheats. Call this guy he was totally disrespectful said it was SOLD AS IS. I know a little bit about cars so I took out the thermostat and found literally a little rubber red cap trapped between the thermostat. I even took pictures of it hands dirty and all just to show him. He didn't want to hear it eventually the car has blown a head gasket because of overheating. Guess what that means? A whole new motor for a car I spent $5k just to purchase. This place is by far the worse place to buy a car. You have a better chance on Craigslist honestly.

Looked all over for a vehicle and couldn’t find the one that I liked. This little dealership I came across had the perfect car for me. The owner is professional, not pushy, relaxed and is very knowledgeable. I recommend anyone buying a decent car for the price they offer. car-gurus listed the Mitsubishi as a fair price but he worked with me on a price I preferred! Thank you again Jim for getting me in a car I have been wanting!!

I had a good experience. The sales manager was very open and personable. No strong sell. The cars they sell are as is, high mileage cars, so buyer beware. They pick them up at auction and do safety inspections, and ensure all systems are functional. However, being high mileage cars, they are at higher risk of developing problems near term. They will sell you an extended warranty if you are looking for a guaranty, but the costs start at $2k and go up. So, they are a good small dealership for what they sell, but you have to know what you are getting into.

This lot sells lemons. The owner is dishonest and does not even have a valid license for a dealership, thus insulating his customers from lemon law protections. He does NOT have a thorough check performed of his vehicles. He does NOT back his vehicles. I called him and let him know of the car problems i had within a week of purchasing from him. He told me its "not [his] problem" and "good luck getting me to fix it". This is awful for the industry, consumers and those thinking about buying from him.
I do NOT recommend buying here. He will rip you off, but first he will lie to you about the conditions of his lemons. Nothing on his lot is worth buying. Learn from many of the other dissatisfied customers - shop around!
Sincerely,
A Concerned Citizen who was ripped off here

Auto Buyer's Guide – Butler Auto Werks
Shopping for a vehicle at Butler Auto Werks in Butler, Wisconsin? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
1
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Butler Auto Werks if a report is available for any listing.
2
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
3
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
4
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Butler Auto Werks if a third-party inspection is permitted.
5
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Butler Auto Werks.
How to Finance a Auto at Butler Auto Werks

Typical Loan Terms
