Danny and Dennis are top-notch! They know what they are talking about, and they will definitely prove it to you. I had a transmission issue in my F-150, and the dealership wanted to do a full rebuild for $6500. I called Boss, and they said, "No way you need a full rebuild unless there is proof in the fluid." So I took the truck to them, and they gave me a sample of my fluid. It definitely needed a change, but they showed me how it was just dark and that there was no reason for a rebuild because it was free of material. The owner was a straightforward guy, and he will explain anything you need understanding of. He just wants to get you back on the road. My full job was only $1600, and that was for a full tune-up, transmission flush and filter, and coolant flush and fill. Also I was in a bit of a crunch time and they understood and got my truck out in a very timely manner. Great job guys! I look forward to working with you guys in the future for my next maintance intervals

4 out of 5 stars I visited Boss Automotive based on the strong Google reviews, and this was my second time bringing a vehicle here. The first time, I came in with a few issues the dealership had quoted me significantly more to fix about 30% higher, so I decided to give Boss a try. They handled the repairs for a fair price, and overall, my experience has been a solid 4/5. I understand it’s a mechanic shop and things naturally get dirty, but I’ll be honest: if it weren’t for the reviews, I’m not sure I would have initially left my car. A dedicated day of cleaning up the lot, refreshing the exterior, and tidying both the shop area and the lobby would go a long way toward boosting customer confidence. The quality of work is there, the presentation just doesn’t reflect it yet. After having some work done at the dealership recently, I was told that one of the repairs Boss previously handled wasn’t functioning correctly. I called Boss, and even though I was a bit elevated in the conversation, they owned it completely. They warranted the repair without hesitation, and the part had genuinely failed. I don’t fault them for that, parts fail sometimes. What I do appreciate is that they stepped up and took care of it, especially considering it’s a full day’s job to reach that part. I even had them perform additional work while the car was there. My reason for the 4/5 rating comes down to the facility’s appearance and the owner’s rougher communication style. Dennis ultimately made things right, and we ended on a positive note. A little refinement in customer interaction and some cleanup around the shop would elevate this place from good to truly great. Overall, they do honest work at a fair price, and with just a few adjustments, Boss Automotive could easily become a next-level shop.

Nice enough guys. Picked up my truck and they missed a lug nut and did not return my wheel lock key. Had to go back to get them to solve that problem. Then noticed that my engine cover was laying loose on top of my engine.. took it back to get them to fix. Asked them to check it over again to make sure it’s all ok. Said it was fine. I now discovered that they didn’t put the wheel well cover back on either and it’s just flopping in the wheel well. So frustrating and disappointed with this experience.

I have never been more impressed with a mechanic! 1,000 miles from home and called several shops just to hear they could take a look at my truck in a couple weeks. I called Boss expecting to hear the same thing. Instead, I was told they would get me right in and could have my transfer case up and running the next day! Expecting a call in the afternoon, I was surprised when the call came at 9:30 am!! I may not be a local, but I have told my large family down here about Boss! I highly recommend Boss Automotive, 10 out of 5 stars!!

I traveled a long way in order to get work done at this place because on our phone conversation in the beginning then it sounded very knowledgeable in the problem that I had with my vehicle. Outstanding work no BS they tell you straight forward pretty much what you're going to need and they get it done and they deliver on time. The picture is not the vehicle that he worked on it was a 2006 GMC Savana van but when it comes time I will bring my Corvette in because I feel very secure in the fact that these boys know what they're doing. Dennis is very friendly very knowledgeable does not talk down to you and explain everything in detail!
