Shopping for a vehicle at Bob Howard Nissan in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma? Follow these steps to buy with confidence.
Pull the vehicle history report
Run a CARFAX or AutoCheck report using the VIN before you visit. Look for accident history, odometer rollbacks, and title brands like salvage or flood. Ask Bob Howard Nissan if a report is available for any listing.
Take a thorough test drive
Drive on both city streets and the highway. Accelerate hard. Brake firmly. Listen for any clunks, vibrations, or warning lights. Test the AC, heat, and all electronics during the drive.
Inspect for hidden wear
Check for uneven panel gaps, mismatched paint, or overspray — signs of past bodywork. Push on each corner of the car to test the shocks. Look underneath for frame damage, fluid leaks, or rust.
Get a pre-purchase inspection
Have a trusted mechanic inspect any used vehicle before you buy. A $100–$150 PPI can uncover issues that save you thousands. Ask Bob Howard Nissan if a third-party inspection is permitted.
Negotiate the out-the-door price
Focus on the total out-the-door price, not the monthly payment. Understand every fee on the sales contract before signing. Dealer add-ons like paint protection and VIN etching are negotiable at Bob Howard Nissan.

Absolutely love my new car! Our salesman, Kaden went above and beyond to get the car I wanted. He had the car brought from another dealership, came in on his day off and was so very kind. This was the best experience by far at a car dealership.
I have been going to Bob Howard for service for a while and it was always good service and now it's even quicker. When you wait for your car it's good to get in and out quickly. The staff are all friendly and courteous.
Brittani was great to work with and the whole car buying process went really smoothly! And she got me a really good price for my trade in! I never felt pressured and the whole thing was very chill. If you’re looking for a sweet new ride come on over to Bob Howard Nissan
Great experience, the one sales member who was still there despite this most recent storm's crazy weather, Robert Riojas (one cool dude), helped me get a replacement car, a 2019 Mazda MX-5 Miata GT to replace my totaled 2017 Chevrolet Impala. Great price for the mileage, year, and features, paid 20K for a rock solid ND2 Miata, and I can't wait to see what crazy stuff I can do in these zippy little things! Again big kudos to Robert Riojas for helping me despite this nutty storm, he even helped me get to the lot to pick up my car when it was snowing pretty hard out! Good people are definitely still out there 😄
THEYRE SCAMMERS!! my husband and i got our 2022 nissan frontier towed here a few weeks ago because it 'sometimes' doesn't start, we knew it was an electrical/wire issue because anytime we wiggled some wires we would hear it make a starting up noise under the hood and then it would start up, we told them that! this dealership diagnosed it saying they needed to replace the high pressure fuel pump, it costed us $1,781 to get it fixed, got it home and 3 days later it didn't start again. obviously wasn't the high pressure fuel pump. so i called them asking for a refund or at least a partial and they refused and said WE have to get it towed, then i asked if the next service will cost us and they said yes, but then my very upset dad called and then they called us back saying they would work with us on it. i called again today and talked to their GM (jay) and he told us to bring it back in and i refused because we lost all trust in them that they won't fix it properly, and scared they will charge us again, then he offered for us to get it diagnosed somewhere else and if what they replaced wasn't the issue then they will refund us. i'm just going to have my dad who is a mechanic fix this because we can't afford to take it to another dealership. so we got SCAMMED out of almost $1,800! my husbands entire christmas bonus went towards getting this truck out of the dealership instead of our kids christmas. i'm still hoping for them to call me and offer a refund or at least a partial refund because that's a lot of money just completely gone for something that didn't need to be replaced, then maybe we can make up the christmas gifts we weren't able to get for the kids. don't buy from here or get vehicle service here. absolute BS, awful people.
